<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, thanks so much for leaving some love, it truly helps, you Ladies are THE BEST...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
They let Deb go home for Christmas day to spend it with her children, Tonniece, Shelia and I spent Christmas day together, tons of laughs and great food, it was a great day.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now on to my gifts,I made old brooches into steam punk ones..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sk9yrqzvRtc/VJcYAUxiH-I/AAAAAAAATFA/jRyMr60u2us/s1600/P1170422.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sk9yrqzvRtc/VJcYAUxiH-I/AAAAAAAATFA/jRyMr60u2us/s1600/P1170422.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Tonniece had given me a brooch, I used this for my base, the tiny man was a pair of earrings she also gave me... <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jLkwC5il5tQ/VJcYDc9iisI/AAAAAAAATFI/kdS0UnUBJDY/s1600/P1170423.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jLkwC5il5tQ/VJcYDc9iisI/AAAAAAAATFI/kdS0UnUBJDY/s1600/P1170423.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This is from the back...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-P5GMcorF2EU/VKCP2uu5fBI/AAAAAAAATKo/05LppAB8Tz4/s1600/P1170437.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-P5GMcorF2EU/VKCP2uu5fBI/AAAAAAAATKo/05LppAB8Tz4/s1600/P1170437.JPG" height="320" width="178" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I knew Tonniece probably wouldn't ware it so I made a holder for her to put it in her craft room..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FP6txdSDAgk/VKBssPbwnzI/AAAAAAAATIA/CyKR0K_2wzY/s1600/P1170443.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FP6txdSDAgk/VKBssPbwnzI/AAAAAAAATIA/CyKR0K_2wzY/s1600/P1170443.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This is what I gathered for Sues brooch.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nzp87XCUdNo/VKBswrOPQVI/AAAAAAAATIQ/egXBu1N2O0A/s1600/P1170445.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nzp87XCUdNo/VKBswrOPQVI/AAAAAAAATIQ/egXBu1N2O0A/s1600/P1170445.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-n7wFckNysXk/VKBsysGM8EI/AAAAAAAATIY/s4hbcckQpKQ/s1600/P1170446.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-n7wFckNysXk/VKBsysGM8EI/AAAAAAAATIY/s4hbcckQpKQ/s1600/P1170446.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies,, I've got a wee story to tell about my absence, if you just want to see some photo art, scroll down for them..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've been lost in Laptop land, where the mode of communication is by an impossible touch pad, my claws and IT didn't get along at all, I'm much to heavy handed on it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It all started on Nov, the 21 st. when we had a huge storm with winds up to 100 mph. my power went out for 10 mins and it crashed my computer, luckily my dear Bro had given me his new Toshiba laptop, which he had for 3 years, but never used it, I had gone up that summer and set it up for him with Rogers. My internet provider had been bought out by Rogers, they are a huge company in Canada. So I thought this would be easy peasy. NO it was a nightmare,.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I could get on line. but couldn't sign in anywhere, face book, blog land,. It took me forever to get my brother off the laptop and get signed in under my name, my DS Sandy even got on my machine took it over and chatted on lined with a Roger tech person for 45 min, they said I wasn't registered with them with my account no. which I gave them from my bill in front of me. Facebook wouldn't recognize me. I always used my outlook for my mail, since it is safer then the web mail. Google wouldn't let me sign in, rogers mail wouldn't either. My claws and the touch pad were having fits, yikes finally got a wireless mouse and my world was was on the track home.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When I finally talked to a Rogers tech person, I signed into Rogers yahoo, ( </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
that is where it's web mail is affiliated with ) and my old email address which I had my group with came up, since I already had an email account with them I had to use it/ I had to go to all the blogs I follow and change my address, got a chance to do a bit of visiting, 2 days later I got on to facebook, and was able to comment there too. Still couldn't get into my blog until yesterday when I download my photo's to Picasa, then downloaded them to the picasa web album it asked me to sign in and it all connected together and I got everything back on line together. aaahhhh, I was back in the real world again how wonderful. my new email address is diannemarcoux @yahoo.com..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When I wasn't having confrontations with the laptop, I was at my desk working on my Christmas cards, I made all the Ladies at swimming theirs, we had our Christmas party on Dec. 4th, everyone brought the food, I made a bread pudding with Panettone, best bread pudding recipe ever :O).. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was also working on my gifts, a bracelet, a couple of steampunk brooches, Jan's picture</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've posted a few peeks at my cards, I posted all the cards going out of the country, and will post the Ontario ones on Wed. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These are some of the tags and old book pages I put on the cards</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These are the cards in their envelopes ready for the post, the cards will probably be late, but they are on there way. I will do a separate post on how I made them later when most are received...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<br />
This is a special bracelet I made for my friend Lillian I had the box, and added the crocheted flower then the leather poinsettia .<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YWm7DVNIa8Y/VIhH8Uvwc5I/AAAAAAAATDA/Immp4zIGVHE/s1600/P1170389.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YWm7DVNIa8Y/VIhH8Uvwc5I/AAAAAAAATDA/Immp4zIGVHE/s1600/P1170389.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
In 2007 I was in a swap with my yahoo artisit group, 12 of us traded charms, they were all so uniquely beautiful and different. I had a bunch of bracelets I bought years ago, so I attached them on one of them. My dear friend Lillian always wears the most unique things, I knew she would love this one of a kind bracelet. I really loved them all but they were just sitting in a bag, now they will be see when ever she wears it, they were made to be seen.<br />
I posted a few close ups, I'm sure you can guess which one I made. their is nothing more special then collaborating with other artist creating art, it was truly my favorite thing running the group..<br />

I went to my favorite Challenge to see how many days I had to posts, squawk, only 7 hours, so I quickly went to my desk to finish my two tags. When Miss Julie Ann posted her tag, which is amazing, as she does, she made it for a Christmas gift, I thought grrrreat idea.. I was making it for a special Christmas tag and would have it done. BUT I really wanted one for my wardrobe too.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Which is why I made two of them. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I search on line for 2 quotes, keeping in mind the letter was U and a quote, I looked up creative quotes and came up with these ones..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This will be a long post, photo heavy and lots of explaining, you had better get a cuppa, or just take a look at the photos and enjoy..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You will have to look at them on the large setting to see what I'm nattering on about. :O).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wl46hxW37R4/VGuVXjvzM0I/AAAAAAAAS5Y/A4uVRHf5IUM/s1600/P1170352.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wl46hxW37R4/VGuVXjvzM0I/AAAAAAAAS5Y/A4uVRHf5IUM/s1600/P1170352.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I started with a master board for both tags and challenged myself to make them totally different.<br />
The paper was from a 12x12 pad, it was a shiny green with an white embossed diamonds with 4 little tear drops in the corners.<br />
I gave it a few layers of watered gesso, covering all the green and hoping the embossing would still show through, and it did, so happy about that.<br />
I painted it with some beach hut fresco, white watercolor paint and water, I gave it 3 layer of this.<br />
I stamped a fall tree in white paint to make it wintery, that's not a real word, but you get what I mean..<br />
I had a kids stencil with what I thought looked like a snowflake, closest think I have to a snowflake, keeping with the wintery theme. Lightly stamped some lovely script from Paperartys .<br />
I embossed a swirly flower in silver embossing powder, I have 3 tiny jars of it, which I use sparingly and have had for over 12 years..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JxRdxjDVuNw/VGuVeqIJh7I/AAAAAAAAS5o/8k_N1fG61P4/s1600/P1170354.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JxRdxjDVuNw/VGuVeqIJh7I/AAAAAAAAS5o/8k_N1fG61P4/s1600/P1170354.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
A close up...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i2e3hil8ubs/VGuVim-wiTI/AAAAAAAAS5w/jhmSe2eUJ2s/s1600/P1170355.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i2e3hil8ubs/VGuVim-wiTI/AAAAAAAAS5w/jhmSe2eUJ2s/s1600/P1170355.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This is the two of them done, front and back...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F6Q7zo6no9Q/VGuWG27ASTI/AAAAAAAAS7I/zR0NIdtoOEE/s1600/P1170366.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F6Q7zo6no9Q/VGuWG27ASTI/AAAAAAAAS7I/zR0NIdtoOEE/s1600/P1170366.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eQbZMjmENBo/VGuVmd2OptI/AAAAAAAAS54/bN3gL8PN9uc/s1600/P1170356.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-eQbZMjmENBo/VGuVmd2OptI/AAAAAAAAS54/bN3gL8PN9uc/s1600/P1170356.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
This is my keeper, a quote I believe to be SO true...<br />
I used some peeled corrugated cardboard to frame it..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;"> The backing is the back of a card stock pad :)..</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cRGGGaorBX4/VGuVpoPznmI/AAAAAAAAS6A/-MPUamFl3sc/s1600/P1170357.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cRGGGaorBX4/VGuVpoPznmI/AAAAAAAAS6A/-MPUamFl3sc/s1600/P1170357.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="text-align: center;">I got my friend Sheila to print the quotes out on some watercolor paper I gave her, I cut out the words, edged them with broken china.</span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;">The U is a foam letter with lots of thick gesso and rock candy distress glitter. I added thick gesso to the frame.</span><br />
<div>
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gqMhIWvCRiY/VGuVtHkX32I/AAAAAAAAS6I/ZIZ5oNhRMpk/s1600/P1170358.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gqMhIWvCRiY/VGuVtHkX32I/AAAAAAAAS6I/ZIZ5oNhRMpk/s1600/P1170358.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped the word and meaning, create, on a chip board sweet bird, edged him black soot ink, used a blue flat back jewel for his eye..<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-79R8RdjL_hs/VGuWDeoHOcI/AAAAAAAAS7A/rF_SK_JwRLw/s1600/P1170365.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-79R8RdjL_hs/VGuWDeoHOcI/AAAAAAAAS7A/rF_SK_JwRLw/s1600/P1170365.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For the topping I used 2 silky ribbons, I do make mine different, so they are able to be hung.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WCOyWo7S7Jc/VGuWKzF9luI/AAAAAAAAS7Q/ocB-oaXw4Vs/s1600/P1170367.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WCOyWo7S7Jc/VGuWKzF9luI/AAAAAAAAS7Q/ocB-oaXw4Vs/s1600/P1170367.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
This is my Christmas tag, a gift for a special someone...<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sSq69ufnSTk/VGuV0l8AgaI/AAAAAAAAS6Y/o_RKaGd3eY4/s1600/P1170360.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sSq69ufnSTk/VGuV0l8AgaI/AAAAAAAAS6Y/o_RKaGd3eY4/s1600/P1170360.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The large U is a chip board letter I just got from my Friend Pat, she and I went to a craft day at her church, making snowmen, I'll have to post the pics of them soon. Anywho, the letter was perfect for this tag.<br />
I stamped the lovely square with the word You, and stamped the word sparkle inside..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-a7pmcblaxlE/VGuV7X3n96I/AAAAAAAAS6o/cet3hIvRJlM/s1600/P1170362.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-a7pmcblaxlE/VGuV7X3n96I/AAAAAAAAS6o/cet3hIvRJlM/s1600/P1170362.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
This quote is perfect for the receiver, I tore out the words, then edged them in broken china, love them torn out, the edges are lovely. I added some snow on top of the letter and words with glue and fine white glitter..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TUz-DqqXzlQ/VGuWOmSM0sI/AAAAAAAAS7Y/23NneSh0Svo/s1600/P1170368.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TUz-DqqXzlQ/VGuWOmSM0sI/AAAAAAAAS7Y/23NneSh0Svo/s1600/P1170368.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I fooled you in the first photo, I had completely forgotten all about this tiny tag, with the word Believe and snowy corners, it is the same on the both sides, when I down loaded the photos, I finally remembered the tiny tag, went back to my desk, added it to the tag and took more photos..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0JRuIIOZ3-Y/VGuV9yds6FI/AAAAAAAAS6w/YJ3jbxOazx0/s1600/P1170363.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0JRuIIOZ3-Y/VGuV9yds6FI/AAAAAAAAS6w/YJ3jbxOazx0/s1600/P1170363.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
For the topping I used 2 fancy ribbons...</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, time to reveal my magical wardrobe, when a Magpie gets to dream with some wonderfully creative Dragons.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am blessed, I have been honored to be a Dragons Dreamboat 5 times and also asked to be a guest designer. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for inspiring and encourage me to dream along.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had to create a special Nest (wardrobe) to store my tags in.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So come along, grab a cuppa, and enjoy the tour of my magical cupboard, full of my dreams....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
There a lots of photos and I will be nattering on, as I do, :O)..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GMMGQSwspWE/VGFLQxaCgTI/AAAAAAAAS08/kiph93xuS-U/s1600/P1170321.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GMMGQSwspWE/VGFLQxaCgTI/AAAAAAAAS08/kiph93xuS-U/s320/P1170321.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I took the lid of the box sliced it in half with my trusty box cutter.<br />
I taped all the edges with masking tape making them steadier Gessoed them a couple of times, I was waiting for the fabulous stencil my DS Sandy sent me, they are Roman letters, they remind me of the gorgeous doors on the La Sagrada Familia, <a href="http://www.sagradafamilia.cat/sf-eng/docs_instit/historia.php" target="_blank">here</a><br />
in Barcelona, I believe its the most beautiful church in the world, they started construction in 1828, they are still working on it, I fell in love with Barcelona and Senor Gaudi who is my favorite artist, architect , his buildings blew me away and that curved bench made out of mosaic tiles, in his park** THE BOMB **. Sorry back on track, I was very excited with my stencil.<br />
I painted it with my Fresco paints..<br />
<h3 class="r" style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: medium; font-weight: normal; margin: 0px; overflow: hidden; padding: 0px; text-overflow: ellipsis; white-space: nowrap;">

<br />
Ooww aren't those letter lovely, I laid them down on all 4 corners..<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PM64_F6v7rw/VGFLdW23z5I/AAAAAAAAS1U/BPcKNvyMvj0/s1600/P1170324.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PM64_F6v7rw/VGFLdW23z5I/AAAAAAAAS1U/BPcKNvyMvj0/s320/P1170324.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
I stamped the word creative on gessoed book page with some Inca gold dots, edged it in fire brick red, the definition is stamped on plain gessoed book paper<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8_yiGChyQIQ/VGFLhrkTkiI/AAAAAAAAS1c/mAkcbqrs1bU/s1600/P1170325.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8_yiGChyQIQ/VGFLhrkTkiI/AAAAAAAAS1c/mAkcbqrs1bU/s320/P1170325.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
The gold piece in the middle is, well I used a copper colored braclet, cover it with toilet paper, using a stipple brush and water, to catch all the design, I put a layer of mod poge on top, then let it dry.<br />
The next day I carefully peeled it from the bracelet, it had rusted a bit, loved that :), I put it in a book with weights on top to flattened it. I used my gold gelato over it then rubbed it in with my fingers. I thought it looked like a piece of wood molding, you see on old wardrobes. The handles are 2 pieces from a bracelet, I painted them with Inca gold.<br />
I stamped the words Magpie and Dragons, well the wardrobe is who it was created by, dreaming with them has been such a joy.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0W9Jh8_zRn8/VGFLocGXBPI/AAAAAAAAS1s/JJARVybS0Ug/s1600/P1170328.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0W9Jh8_zRn8/VGFLocGXBPI/AAAAAAAAS1s/JJARVybS0Ug/s320/P1170328.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I covered the doors with some same wall paper as the inside.<br />
I took 2 paper sticky back frames, first I gessoed them then painted them with Inca gold, I used some shiny foil paper to make a mirror.<br />
The feather is one of the ones Tonniece has given me, I just had to add a feather, these being special to me, as you know...<br />
<br />

<br />
Trying to attach the doors was a huge challenge, since the lid to the boot box is larger so it can slide on top, I didn't realize it until I tried to put the doors and side together. I don't have any hinges, so I had to improvise. I put 2 layers of tape, a mesh layer, and a thick plastic tape with mesh inside the tape. Then I made some washi tape, with white medical tape, painted it with fresco's paint and stamped the alphabet, rubbed some Inca gold over it. I used Alinen's glue in between the layers so it would hold when the doors open, I laided weights on each side letting them dry for a day, so it took a couple of days... The sides and lid meet, so they sit out from the box and give it some room for my large tags, I use all sorts of things to make my tags, never a plain tag, I don't even own one, improvising again, I like that it challenges me..<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Rwptkv07gzM/VGFL_Ynn0uI/AAAAAAAAS2k/0EBaJS_xo7Q/s1600/P1170336.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Rwptkv07gzM/VGFL_Ynn0uI/AAAAAAAAS2k/0EBaJS_xo7Q/s320/P1170336.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
Eeekkksss, when I got up that morning and went over to take the weights off (pieces of slate), flipped it over, I was devastated to see the letters were upside down, what was I to do, well I could paint over it stamp it again, nope, it's kinda me, and it is just for me, so I'm embracing my mistake.......<br />
I used a long stem of a bull rush, instead of a dowel, they are quite strong, to hold the tags, then used 2 wooden tube beads on the ends, The End....<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for visiting and staying till the end, bless you :O)..<br />
I'm off to make dinner and will try to fly around and visit as many as you Lovely Ladies as I can. I haven't had any time to start this fortnight challenge, I must do that, then get to my Christmas things. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, I made a few poppies for a some of the Ladies at swimming. A lot of the ladies husbands are Veterans, they were saying how the poppies always fell off their coats, the small pin ends up falling out. So I thought I would make some that stayed on.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I punched out circles from cheap red velvet ribbon, then I folded them in quarters, trimmed the sides. I used some old button, sewed them with shiny red thread, I didn't sew them on the poppy because it was to hard to put my thick needle through the ribbon, the back is a plastic. I just sewed up the holes, then glued them on the center with hot glue.. I ran out of ribbon after I made 9 of them...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-t9BuffD2FXY/VGFIXYXV3pI/AAAAAAAASx8/k0cDFiQuIYA/s1600/P1170318.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-t9BuffD2FXY/VGFIXYXV3pI/AAAAAAAASx8/k0cDFiQuIYA/s1600/P1170318.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--_ZZV8-qjWM/VGFIOSSVZRI/AAAAAAAASx0/Kl59Rr93mCg/s1600/P1170317.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--_ZZV8-qjWM/VGFIOSSVZRI/AAAAAAAASx0/Kl59Rr93mCg/s1600/P1170317.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I cut out an oval piece of felt, glued it all around the edge with hot glue, this left the middle empty, so the pin could slide in, I used a straight pin and a earring back to hold it on your coat.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dNqeXsxHkq0/VGFIqILO99I/AAAAAAAASys/SmvaKKYokQ8/s1600/P1170320.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dNqeXsxHkq0/VGFIqILO99I/AAAAAAAASys/SmvaKKYokQ8/s1600/P1170320.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I loved the old buttons my DS Sue gave me, I used my copics to give the poppies some shading...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
I made 2 with 2 layer, and some stickle on the inside, one is mine and the other is for my special friend Miss Lilian, she gave me my gorgeous steam punk broach. I'm going to tell the Ladies when they sell the poppies next year, the can wear these ones, then they can just give the money to the vets..<br />
<br />
I finally finished my tag cupboard, but I'll give you a peek and save the rest for tomorrow.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, well it's very late in the evening and I finally finished my tag. The Sweet Miss May asked us to make a tag with red and D, the Dragon team <a href="http://dragon-dragonsdream.blogspot.ca/" target="_blank">here</a>, made some gorgeous tags, they always inspire me to dream along..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
. If you know me, I loooooove little dresses, it's one of my favorite things to create so of course I picked D for Dress.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OKQNxoCGhj8/VFghUOTkhRI/AAAAAAAASuQ/9__MtIw4QbY/s1600/P1170305.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OKQNxoCGhj8/VFghUOTkhRI/AAAAAAAASuQ/9__MtIw4QbY/s1600/P1170305.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Yesterday I started out with a sheet of paper I had in my stash which already had red and white circles on it from another project. I used all the red inks I had to color over the white then added circles with white paint and persimmon stamping up ink, I also made splotches with the white paint and persimmon ink. I cut out an old brown school picture frame for the backing, edging it in black soot.<br />
Today I made a stamp, it is a dress, in case you thinks it's a cat :O).<br />
Added some script in persimmon ink for the background..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DAvsjg-1LtE/VFghXxxS0gI/AAAAAAAASuY/4YOVhiYLET4/s1600/P1170306.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DAvsjg-1LtE/VFghXxxS0gI/AAAAAAAASuY/4YOVhiYLET4/s1600/P1170306.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Miss Julie Ann had sent me a dress form and I have been saving it for something special. I had 2 baby wipes from all the red I used yesterday, so I thought I would use this to make a dress. It has 2 layers a flowing top over the under dress, I like an angle on clothes, no straight lines for me...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jEBhW4N3hWI/VFgha-b6HfI/AAAAAAAASug/bNXXHATL5fI/s1600/P1170307.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jEBhW4N3hWI/VFgha-b6HfI/AAAAAAAASug/bNXXHATL5fI/s1600/P1170307.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXvFSiXzPKaF8MMCM9yy44tk8UyVrPsr-MR5JXcmzXxUFdDlgg80uKyTfR5hN1ViAzRUpAaw4iMMCracIq6MrQFil7O12n6sjYtaoU0YwdmKd9mAzgg-hlaeNa0GGeLBuiwUjPU5eGLmKz/s1600/P1170310.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXvFSiXzPKaF8MMCM9yy44tk8UyVrPsr-MR5JXcmzXxUFdDlgg80uKyTfR5hN1ViAzRUpAaw4iMMCracIq6MrQFil7O12n6sjYtaoU0YwdmKd9mAzgg-hlaeNa0GGeLBuiwUjPU5eGLmKz/s1600/P1170310.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I added 4 thin ribbons for the topping , 2 are cloth and the other 2 are the plastic curly ones...<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-j9iIn1qd4fo/VFghd-f4QKI/AAAAAAAASuo/ado72xC9CBE/s1600/P1170308.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-j9iIn1qd4fo/VFghd-f4QKI/AAAAAAAASuo/ado72xC9CBE/s1600/P1170308.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I added stickles to trim the top part and on the belt, which you can see is still wet and punched a circle out of some extra paper I had sitting around from all the red I was using and stamped my D, edged it with a black copic..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U1vuNzzOvwQ/VFghpgVjSgI/AAAAAAAASvI/EAuxC1tStlo/s1600/P1170314.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U1vuNzzOvwQ/VFghpgVjSgI/AAAAAAAASvI/EAuxC1tStlo/s1600/P1170314.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
A close up of the angles on the dress...<br />
<br />
I must be tired I have made so many spelling mistakes, it's like I'm typing an unknown language, so I'm off to bed and will post this in the morning, before I head out...<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by my nest, it's always a pleasure to have you here. Wishing you all a wonderful creative week, ((( BIG HUGS )))<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, warning, warning, warning, Will Robinson, this is PHOTO HEAVY. Sorry I did a lot of stuff on it, it took me 2 weeks to create. If you want to stay around you had better grab a large cuppa. I'll try to keep the nattering to a minimum, hahaha, wish me luck with that ^-^.....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When Miss Julie Ann posted the Gift of Reading <a href="http://www.magpieheaven.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/the-gift-of-reading-for-paperartsy.html" target="_blank">here,</a> on Oct. 9th, I was blown away,if you haven't seen it, it is well worth the look. I have been desperately, madly creating this gift box. I looooved creating it, it brought me such joy, thanks so much Cuz, I truly fell in love with yours, once I saw it, I just knew I had to make something..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hVNsPY2d7Yw/VEqZy9oWm6I/AAAAAAAASgQ/_jABKDKvHAk/s1600/P1170258.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hVNsPY2d7Yw/VEqZy9oWm6I/AAAAAAAASgQ/_jABKDKvHAk/s1600/P1170258.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This is the picture frame I'm making for my friend Jan, I'll be decorating the frame and making fairy pics to match her bathroom.<br />
<div>
It's a little snug, might have to wrap it in tissue when I finish it. It is her BD as well in Dec, so this will be her 2 gifts all taken care of....</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
These photos I took before I added the Fairy's..</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WoTh-TItrmw/VEhCTFM8PLI/AAAAAAAASd8/DzM56G4vBNg/s1600/P1170247.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WoTh-TItrmw/VEhCTFM8PLI/AAAAAAAASd8/DzM56G4vBNg/s1600/P1170247.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I tried to follow most of the techniques Julie Ann used, I'll try to remember everything I did :O).<br />
I started by cut it out of a huge piece of cardboard,( I have a huge stock of these ) using the picture for the template and I reeeeeally wished I had a larger area to work on, I kept having to fold the side up, fold the sides up, with all the different layers, crazy..<br />
I brayered some fresco paints, London bus, beach hut, hey pesto and zesty zing to color the background.<br />
Stamped the french script in white paint, stamped the funny green lines, they are a with stamp I made agggges ago out of clay, it didn't stamp fully, it is a bamboo tree, but I was embracing the mistakes :)...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-H96z989cL_M/VEhCWsVLoRI/AAAAAAAASeI/3wKjymNKiYY/s1600/P1170248.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-H96z989cL_M/VEhCWsVLoRI/AAAAAAAASeI/3wKjymNKiYY/s1600/P1170248.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped more script from a Paper artsy stamp in Tim's gathered twig, I made the circles with a pill bottle top and white paint, I made a puddle of Inca Gold, for the gold circles..<br />
I stamped Lady bugs in all the circles and tiny lady bugs all over, it made the large Lady bugs all different colors, love how they turned out....<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I double bumped, a Paperartsy leaf stamp in Fresco's, London bus and hey pesto. sorry the photo is upside down. I learned a few lessons while creating this, I prefer it with a stamp that is plain, it might be just me but it looks messy with the swirls in the stamp, normally I love this stamp.. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DGyaZUWR9xM/VEhCfsccB9I/AAAAAAAASeY/ZKHiY8hHyE8/s1600/P1170250.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DGyaZUWR9xM/VEhCfsccB9I/AAAAAAAASeY/ZKHiY8hHyE8/s1600/P1170250.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
You can faintly see a window cut out, they open, I put masking tape on the window, then was going to take it off leaving the shutters plain. I like it so much I decided to leave it on...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I stamped 8 different fairy stamps on tissue, added 4 to the inside , 4 on the outside...<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Vv-B29eKH30/VEqaauo1ZzI/AAAAAAAAShg/fJrFj57LsEc/s1600/P1170268.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Vv-B29eKH30/VEqaauo1ZzI/AAAAAAAAShg/fJrFj57LsEc/s1600/P1170268.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I painted the parts white, I was going to color, on the back, then colored the front with fresco paints, lesson 2, I should have added water to the paint to make it more transparent, I added a golden glow around them with Inca gold and a tiny bit of water.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jYV8l8rK7mE/VEhCqHiqYoI/AAAAAAAASew/ySoVmlOMxVw/s1600/P1170253.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jYV8l8rK7mE/VEhCqHiqYoI/AAAAAAAASew/ySoVmlOMxVw/s1600/P1170253.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The out side I gessoed, then tried to create 3 walls that looked like they were falling apart and had also suffered a fire.....<br />
I used a stone wall stencil with Golden's paste, this is the outer layer it was a beautiful stone wall a one time..<br />
Painted the whole thing with white paint, gesso and a tiny bit of black water color paint from a tube to give it a greyish finish..<br />
I stenciled a tile pattern on the back, a brick pattern on the front. this is all one stencil from a children's craft set.<br />
I used Tim's rusty hinge for the brick . Rusty hinge and mowed lawn for the tile pattern, that's what it looks like to me, might be a checker board pattern..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--OOTnCa6J8w/VEhCswbPqbI/AAAAAAAASe4/C_004PfhcMM/s1600/P1170254.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--OOTnCa6J8w/VEhCswbPqbI/AAAAAAAASe4/C_004PfhcMM/s1600/P1170254.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I tore some of the top layer of the cardboard, then used a lighter to burn it away, this will become the bottom layer, after the fire..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WwlKzu4f1wY/VEhCwswIPiI/AAAAAAAASfA/LzBtzBft1Fk/s1600/P1170255.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WwlKzu4f1wY/VEhCwswIPiI/AAAAAAAASfA/LzBtzBft1Fk/s1600/P1170255.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I wanted to create a window, I used the Gothic window Julie Ann sent me as a template, I cut off the top layer of the cardboard leaving the corrugated on to create the shutters, I adore Gothic windows...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-adAkNhLRpOM/VEhCzdSTEaI/AAAAAAAASfI/Y9iGccx9QKo/s1600/P1170256.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-adAkNhLRpOM/VEhCzdSTEaI/AAAAAAAASfI/Y9iGccx9QKo/s1600/P1170256.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is how it looks closed</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I sprayed it with some clear lacquer to seal the ink.. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Photos of it after embellishing it...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tznY3hsnseQ/VEqaeDI2sSI/AAAAAAAASho/piIaCdUz2tg/s1600/P1170269.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tznY3hsnseQ/VEqaeDI2sSI/AAAAAAAASho/piIaCdUz2tg/s1600/P1170269.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I stenciled some vines with fresco paint, on all three sides<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-15JmDHV2ucc/VEqamaczdAI/AAAAAAAASh4/yyDzgeFEm34/s1600/P1170272.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-15JmDHV2ucc/VEqamaczdAI/AAAAAAAASh4/yyDzgeFEm34/s1600/P1170272.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I made a door out of cardboard, peeling the top layer off then burning it again, then gessoed it a couple of times. I painted some pieces of broken belt and bracelet, for the handle, hinges and lion knocker, painted it with rusty hinge paint, then poured some real rust powder on it, let it dry, love the rusty look it gave them...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHeJGdMWh6fjI_H96vTZImI5dDfFgRCGxozD3u21RQ0c05BwoKi6E_WhHNNg7HK50BdlfaTkOjSNFSFv8QByujrLue-k7IRdVWHTmN7ifBfyoIkbe1tfefxWm-EgXm-5TE6mlMIOaD1kp3/s1600/P1170273.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHeJGdMWh6fjI_H96vTZImI5dDfFgRCGxozD3u21RQ0c05BwoKi6E_WhHNNg7HK50BdlfaTkOjSNFSFv8QByujrLue-k7IRdVWHTmN7ifBfyoIkbe1tfefxWm-EgXm-5TE6mlMIOaD1kp3/s1600/P1170273.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I used a broken piece of earring for the emblem over the door, I brightened it with Inca Gold...<br />
I painted these fairies with cheap water color paint.<br />
Lesson 3, I used way too much sparkle with modge poge, distress clear rock candy and ultra fine glitter. I was trying to make it look like fairy dust, had I added some water to it, it would have dispersed it better, and you could have see the image better..<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaBpttxWUCYSWYEHj967NBczjcoOfA3dSrk2C83pIlBlGbwHkLvKxTFhJcCMUzmJMJ9XGnB-fyM-mqsrRu0gwr_C39MF4bvcrl8aiNGWP5BxwG8c1yyre-P20Rp8BqSx9dfSkO2HOjMhnV/s1600/P1170276.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaBpttxWUCYSWYEHj967NBczjcoOfA3dSrk2C83pIlBlGbwHkLvKxTFhJcCMUzmJMJ9XGnB-fyM-mqsrRu0gwr_C39MF4bvcrl8aiNGWP5BxwG8c1yyre-P20Rp8BqSx9dfSkO2HOjMhnV/s1600/P1170276.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>

<br />
I made a frame for the window out of funky foam, gessoed it 3 time's and used a heat gun to dry it, till it created bubbles..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I made some washi tape to hold the frame of the box together, with medical tape, colored it with rusty hinge and Forrest moss paints.<br />
I stamped some vines with rusty hinge and mowed lawn ink then stamped the fairy shoe and magical symbol in black momento ink.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my lovelies, when I saw Silvia picked the letter V and feathers I was so excited, I have a Valise full of my baby feathers my Magpie Mom had saved for me to start my own nest with, I also had a few special feather I found with them. I just had to make a tag to go along with it.....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Dragons team <a href="http://dragon-dragonsdream.blogspot.ca/" target="_blank">here</a> have made some fabulous creations to inspire us all...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XgFIxlxyskQ/VD2T_ss9UwI/AAAAAAAASP8/0_VsKpc6Emo/s1600/P1170202.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XgFIxlxyskQ/VD2T_ss9UwI/AAAAAAAASP8/0_VsKpc6Emo/s1600/P1170202.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
This is the Valise, made out of cardboard from a writing pad. I decorated some paper to look like eggs.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Xc6HZd_uJOc/VD2UBysSeUI/AAAAAAAASQE/CF9erdM3Z0M/s1600/P1170204.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Xc6HZd_uJOc/VD2UBysSeUI/AAAAAAAASQE/CF9erdM3Z0M/s1600/P1170204.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I cut out some strips of leather for the straps..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gFFpjp0cqIg/VD2UFeu4caI/AAAAAAAASQM/pLtfUkuIt8o/s1600/P1170208.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gFFpjp0cqIg/VD2UFeu4caI/AAAAAAAASQM/pLtfUkuIt8o/s1600/P1170208.JPG" height="209" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-o8htqsfRHz4/VD2UaWmjf1I/AAAAAAAASRM/h8hnz7vU-ho/s1600/P1170226.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-o8htqsfRHz4/VD2UaWmjf1I/AAAAAAAASRM/h8hnz7vU-ho/s1600/P1170226.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I used a flat piece of cardboard for the backing then a corrugated piece for the top piece, I made the tree with masking tape, painted the tree with brown and some green and grey for the moss, painted the sky with Fresco beach hut.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HpeNitN2x2k/VD2ZBQPMCZI/AAAAAAAASVk/P4xaowscPiM/s1600/P1170201.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HpeNitN2x2k/VD2ZBQPMCZI/AAAAAAAASVk/P4xaowscPiM/s1600/P1170201.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I made a feather stamp, and then made some washi tape to frame the tag with it. The large feather my friend Tonniece gave me, I fussy cut it out..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BGGjNa8uQd8/VD2UiEQL1_I/AAAAAAAASRc/vRXQ5y7x-eo/s1600/P1170228.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BGGjNa8uQd8/VD2UiEQL1_I/AAAAAAAASRc/vRXQ5y7x-eo/s1600/P1170228.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rJT4xGNuVXw/VD2UlHOKU3I/AAAAAAAASRk/8S3C3r1s90s/s1600/P1170229.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rJT4xGNuVXw/VD2UlHOKU3I/AAAAAAAASRk/8S3C3r1s90s/s1600/P1170229.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
There eagles are flying around, hopefully they don't see my treasures and swoop down for a closer look...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my lovelies, just dropping in for a wee bit, I've been real crazy busy at my desk doing a few things at a time again, I have been so inspired by all of you amazing artist who kindly visit my crazy nest.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The new challenge with the Dragons is with feathers, well you can guess I was flapping my feathers all over my room, I'll save that for my next post, oh and I'm working on a special box eekkss that's been some big fun. Enough nattering :).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
On to my card, a Lady at swimming asked me to make a 25th anniversary card for the gang at swimming, to sign...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0RaU3VM-vXk/VD2QTrzxM2I/AAAAAAAASO8/Ip4hDkP5dHM/s1600/P1170193.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0RaU3VM-vXk/VD2QTrzxM2I/AAAAAAAASO8/Ip4hDkP5dHM/s1600/P1170193.JPG" height="156" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This was pretty basic, I used a 12 x 12 sheet of my botanical pad, I used a plain sheet for the base, stamped on it with some script, and one of my favorite sentiment. I cut out another embossed page in strips for the design on the top and bottom edged everything with pomegranate stamping up ink.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-I3fPi8d0Ej8/VD2QX2t1-PI/AAAAAAAASPE/9lEXCeVimfM/s1600/P1170195.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-I3fPi8d0Ej8/VD2QX2t1-PI/AAAAAAAASPE/9lEXCeVimfM/s1600/P1170195.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I tore this piece from a bought card from my stash , edged it with the pomegranate ink, and used worn lipstick on the inside, it makes the words stand out better.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HJr8mRopswI/VD2QbA_YISI/AAAAAAAASPM/OSfd9fCZAAQ/s1600/P1170196.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HJr8mRopswI/VD2QbA_YISI/AAAAAAAASPM/OSfd9fCZAAQ/s1600/P1170196.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I cut the hearts in the frame out from another card in my stash, stenciled in the 2 and 5 in white, gold and black, I roughed up the frame with my finger nail ,I have very hard ones, my tools :) .. Then inked it with mowed lawn. I added a few pearls from the dollar store..<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPoSwuzHFUlJktxRK3owaEUk3X4jEutrX82WzdB3d7Jq5G5P2tOCeYnR3wljPEbm2ivPR3POoqcQgeuiGTSRuxJXK0_g1A0AzoAFlTlNV6mlJBn1AtIMM7OIgxynm7ahyWZDH_5XF-NSzX/s1600/P1170197.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPoSwuzHFUlJktxRK3owaEUk3X4jEutrX82WzdB3d7Jq5G5P2tOCeYnR3wljPEbm2ivPR3POoqcQgeuiGTSRuxJXK0_g1A0AzoAFlTlNV6mlJBn1AtIMM7OIgxynm7ahyWZDH_5XF-NSzX/s1600/P1170197.JPG" height="184" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The back needed some weight, I cut out the embossed lace from the same paper, it's lovely paper. I added some dots along the top of the lace with my faber castell big white pen..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ykL1gddr14E/VD2Qi9W1_hI/AAAAAAAASPk/QK23q4dUE78/s1600/P1170200.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ykL1gddr14E/VD2Qi9W1_hI/AAAAAAAASPk/QK23q4dUE78/s1600/P1170200.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I added a small sentiment inside, leaving lots of room for all the signatures.<br />
I"ll be around when I'm taking breaks from my desk, it's calling to me right now, really, I have to gesso my cardboard box..<br />
My buddy Sheila is off this weekend, I and my friend Jan gathered a bunch of gorgeous maple leafs, Sheila and I are going to make some roses out of them, I'm real excited about that..<br />
Hope you all have a wonderful creative week, ((( BIG HUGS ))).<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, it is Thanks giving weekend in Canada, boy I'm thankful for every one of you who visit my nest and leave me such wonderful encouraging comments...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have been making lots of tags for the challenges at with the Dragons, I finally had no more room on my wall to hang them, so I though I would make something to hold them in, a magical cupboard for them,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I would like you to meet the real Magpie Di, she is guarding the cupboard, keeping her eyes on things :O).......</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xti5emHi2wY/VC2aK7kZ58I/AAAAAAAAR7M/9jYUbhJZr78/s1600/P1170119.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xti5emHi2wY/VC2aK7kZ58I/AAAAAAAAR7M/9jYUbhJZr78/s1600/P1170119.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I used a lovely boot box my DS Sandy sent me, I added masking tape all around the edges to make it sturdier, gessoed it, then painted it with my Fresco paints, I created my mask from a wall paper boarder, they are just leaves, but I thought they would make a wonderful mask. I made some lovely green eyes, which I always wanted to go with my red hair :). I stamped some script with white paint and randomly stamped the whole alphabet all over..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sxx4eauqLN4/VC2aShzPtbI/AAAAAAAAR7c/EUb7IHNWclw/s1600/P1170121.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sxx4eauqLN4/VC2aShzPtbI/AAAAAAAAR7c/EUb7IHNWclw/s1600/P1170121.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I used my my white sharpie to add dots around them mask..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-E0ZRjDdJ89Y/VC2aXkR-XuI/AAAAAAAAR7k/fjrAfS87zPE/s1600/P1170122.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-E0ZRjDdJ89Y/VC2aXkR-XuI/AAAAAAAAR7k/fjrAfS87zPE/s1600/P1170122.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JSho9h7TOUU/VC2bE7gx9GI/AAAAAAAAR9k/uYoqfB2G8mk/s1600/P1170139.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JSho9h7TOUU/VC2bE7gx9GI/AAAAAAAAR9k/uYoqfB2G8mk/s1600/P1170139.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I received some Italian dictionary pages from Miss Gio, I have been saving them for some thing special. I cut the page in half from corner to corner, one I crumpled up, ran Tim's gathered twig over it, then stamped on it..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DvS85IC1p_Y/VC2bK60vKoI/AAAAAAAAR9s/A302CLrqlSw/s1600/P1170140.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DvS85IC1p_Y/VC2bK60vKoI/AAAAAAAAR9s/A302CLrqlSw/s1600/P1170140.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
The other piece I covered with watered gesso then stamped on it, love them, thanks Miss Gio..<br />
<br />
A few close ups on the sides..<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, hope you all enjoying the fall weather as much as I am, looooove it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Yesterday was my bestie and crafting buddy Sheila BD, I made her a card. Started with a 12x9inches brown envelope and cover both sides with napkins..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jrZUxideGL4/VDR91qN27bI/AAAAAAAASKs/jk-dizZhaAY/s1600/P1170188.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jrZUxideGL4/VDR91qN27bI/AAAAAAAASKs/jk-dizZhaAY/s1600/P1170188.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
For the outside I glued strips of some UK napkins Miss Shelia is has an Irish background and loves the UK almost as much as I do.<br />
I ran out of glue stick glue, which is the best to lay down the napkins with, the wetter glue made it all bubbly, and wrinkled, I had to press it in a book with weights on it to try to flatten it. Then went over it with watered gesso...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vadV0qZAs5I/VDR95ZIA9vI/AAAAAAAASK0/rYL5hTvxu0o/s1600/P1170189.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vadV0qZAs5I/VDR95ZIA9vI/AAAAAAAASK0/rYL5hTvxu0o/s1600/P1170189.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I used some letters to spell out HB and stamped friend on a gessoed book page..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6EzUs7cUXVo/VDR9t-SxAfI/AAAAAAAASKc/hFVx3vyXh2U/s1600/P1170186.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6EzUs7cUXVo/VDR9t-SxAfI/AAAAAAAASKc/hFVx3vyXh2U/s1600/P1170186.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped the sentiment and a thistle all over the front..<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nkkvCtHJOf4/VDR9deuBc6I/AAAAAAAASJ8/LKm1ONf3jUs/s1600/P1170182.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nkkvCtHJOf4/VDR9deuBc6I/AAAAAAAASJ8/LKm1ONf3jUs/s1600/P1170182.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For the inside I used lots of flowers since Miss Sheila loves her plants and is a huge dog lover so the cute dog is her and the Magpie is me, best buddies we are, see I'm giving her kisses :)...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XE8zikykWZQ/VDR9hPZqqdI/AAAAAAAASKE/Mzbr_PGkAVw/s1600/P1170183.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XE8zikykWZQ/VDR9hPZqqdI/AAAAAAAASKE/Mzbr_PGkAVw/s1600/P1170183.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I added some glossy accents for his eyes :) and a flower crown. she love hibiscus, I have a stamp and she sat here one day and stamped <br />
on at least 6 pages of card stock full of them, imagine that :O).<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-a_sBDe1jZ1M/VDR9lXyLu3I/AAAAAAAASKM/KOaVD_CKka0/s1600/P1170184.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-a_sBDe1jZ1M/VDR9lXyLu3I/AAAAAAAASKM/KOaVD_CKka0/s1600/P1170184.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped some different scripts and a french postage stamp, she also loves the Eiffel tower ...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NAR6ydSNk00/VDR9pXJ4uUI/AAAAAAAASKU/NOOIs_Cq8Gg/s1600/P1170185.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NAR6ydSNk00/VDR9pXJ4uUI/AAAAAAAASKU/NOOIs_Cq8Gg/s1600/P1170185.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my lovelies, welcome to the Concert, I dreamed out side my window <a href="http://dragon-dragonsdream.blogspot.ca/" target="_blank">here</a>.. lots of inspiration from the Dragon Designers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Lovely Helen asked us to use Lace with the letter W.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I search my trusty dictionary, as soon as I saw Warbler I knew that was IT :)..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Warblers are the best Singers of the all the Bird Clans......</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I sat at my desk and dreamed a Beautiful Concert by our famous Canadian Warbler, it was music to my ears, the Banner was hung out the on window.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You can see all the Magpies gathering to attend, the ones on the bird feeder came early for the best seats, you get drinks to quench your pallet, while listening to the songs. The Star Rahsaan is perched on the flower, waiting for everyone to arrive, he is so beautiful..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I recorded some of it for you, you can listen and see him sing if you like <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULxMbnfbKUw" target="_blank"> Here</a> , I up loaded it to You Tube :O)...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvSmSJgEzla92TfrsWi_0I1FTzk4m4jUgD7Lug25kyC_2oybKrc3pRjneAMRvu5tdM9765zCgyPVsXfA1hi_4Gh-S7yKhH-t365EGRPnc8lUb7gk1slhBw_0kkXikqY2Ba6j9ceDGD7MQj/s1600/P1170147.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvSmSJgEzla92TfrsWi_0I1FTzk4m4jUgD7Lug25kyC_2oybKrc3pRjneAMRvu5tdM9765zCgyPVsXfA1hi_4Gh-S7yKhH-t365EGRPnc8lUb7gk1slhBw_0kkXikqY2Ba6j9ceDGD7MQj/s1600/P1170147.JPG" height="320" width="199" /></a></div>
I cut a backing of corrugated, painted it lightly with gesso, edged it with Walnut ink.<br />
For the front panel I used the rest of the cover from a watercolor pad. Gessoed it 3 times,<br />
Podged a lovely piece of lace over it all, painted it with Fresco beach hut.<br />
I used a stencil with Goldens paste fairly thick, then painted it with Pebeo apple green and Fresco London bus for the flowers.<br />
I surrounded the window with sticks from a bamboo curtain I took apart..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MNOs1P2FPaw/VC2cBNwcBDI/AAAAAAAAR_I/BybwaUHODak/s1600/P1170152.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MNOs1P2FPaw/VC2cBNwcBDI/AAAAAAAAR_I/BybwaUHODak/s1600/P1170152.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I made a small lace cutain for the top, then made a Banner with some plastic cube beads and a few shiny beads on a plastic string this all came in a dollar store set, loooooooove how it turned out<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KiUATXqn4VE/VC2cEV190AI/AAAAAAAAR_Q/3FwNeEFkkps/s1600/P1170153.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KiUATXqn4VE/VC2cEV190AI/AAAAAAAAR_Q/3FwNeEFkkps/s1600/P1170153.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped the bird on some tissue colored it like a Canadian Warbler, I used the technique from the video at Paper artsy, first painting the back white then painted the front with Frescos, he is a bluish grey with a yellow chest and face, with a lovey black necklace of feathers on his breast. I wanted to make him a little firmer them tissue, so I glued him to a large feather, the quill runs from his chest to his tail, I cut the feathers around his body, you can see it peeking out, and a round glue dot for his head, it gave it some form to perch on the leaf....<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2O7r1PgMDuU/VC2cMdOTSCI/AAAAAAAAR_g/WGu58Sq8TDw/s1600/P1170155.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2O7r1PgMDuU/VC2cMdOTSCI/AAAAAAAAR_g/WGu58Sq8TDw/s1600/P1170155.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped all the Magpies on tissue and podged them in the background.....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WH8aQGZsVyA/VC2cPUpTbbI/AAAAAAAAR_o/LUiijQLtZos/s1600/P1170156.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WH8aQGZsVyA/VC2cPUpTbbI/AAAAAAAAR_o/LUiijQLtZos/s1600/P1170156.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I added a black lace curtain for the bottom of the window.....<br />
<br />
When I went to put my last Jade tag up on my wall where they were all displayed, yikes I ran out of room. not an inch to spare...<br />
I thought I could make something to house them in, so I have made a special cupboard for them. I will show you that goody soon...<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by my crazy nest, I took the morning off my desk to go and wrap my friends Jan's Christmas gifts, DANG, it's way too early for this, but the sooner I finish the more time I will have for my own X list shesh, don't even want to think about it. I know I have too.<br />
It's my Friend and crafting Buddy Sheila's BD next week, am working on her envelope card....<br />
I had so much fun dreaming with the Dragons again once I started I could stop :)....<br />
It was lovely to share my tag and bits of the brilliant Concert, wishing you all a wonderful creative week, ((( BIG HUGS )))...<br />
<br />
NAMASTE !!!!!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, I've been busily, madly, crafting, dreaming, working on 4 things at once, you know I usually don't create like that, but need to get out of my head and go into the flow :)......</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now that book I was going to make turned into a short amateur Nature film.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sorry to short to serve popcorn :O).....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-G3qubu5Nudo/VC2sLYtMF3I/AAAAAAAASAM/bH5unmLu2ME/s1600/P1170158.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-G3qubu5Nudo/VC2sLYtMF3I/AAAAAAAASAM/bH5unmLu2ME/s1600/P1170158.JPG" height="108" width="320" /></a></div>
It was hard to get it all in the photo.<br />
<br />
I had a huge black bristol board, flat finish. I cut it out as long as I could get it, but needed to splice another piece to add to it, I'm not great at measuring so I made it a wee short for the 12 negatives, and yes I should have put them in a row, up and down but liked them across...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I punched out the squares, ran a line of dots on the top and bottom,<br />
sliced strips from a ex-ray sheet, I glued the back side, then stuck the bags in the windows, ran some double sided tape across the top and bottom of the bags...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, I been really busy at my desk, creating some cards for a Dear Lady at swimming who lost her husband to Cancer. This is a special card for Mildred it is her best friend. I made one for the gang to sign, I'll post that later..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KqRbn2DvSh0/VB3MbyMbFTI/AAAAAAAAR00/5IfKaVOt6_A/s1600/P1170080.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KqRbn2DvSh0/VB3MbyMbFTI/AAAAAAAAR00/5IfKaVOt6_A/s1600/P1170080.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I started with another envelope, smaller this time, 12 x 91/2. in.<br />
I had a paper sitting around which I had put a stencil I had used with paste then rubbed it on the paper, I used some of Tim's ink, spiced marmalade , rusty hinge, fired brick and worn lipstick to color it up..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UQv1apSkEKk/VB3Mh5CTM3I/AAAAAAAAR1E/JENQm1T84tE/s1600/P1170082.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UQv1apSkEKk/VB3Mh5CTM3I/AAAAAAAAR1E/JENQm1T84tE/s1600/P1170082.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I stamped a sentiment all over with pomegranate ink, then cut out a lily from a card front, stamped a sentiment and some fancy corner grasses.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Kg53l-4S5vY/VB3Me2Hjx0I/AAAAAAAAR08/uujQhpAU5sc/s1600/P1170081.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Kg53l-4S5vY/VB3Me2Hjx0I/AAAAAAAAR08/uujQhpAU5sc/s1600/P1170081.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I used a tiny heart stencil and bumped it with 2 paint colors then stamped a lily stamp with white paint..<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cQ8y-dwf6Ys/VB3MKsncUII/AAAAAAAAR0E/Ox91ErtNn5c/s1600/P1170074.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cQ8y-dwf6Ys/VB3MKsncUII/AAAAAAAAR0E/Ox91ErtNn5c/s1600/P1170074.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
For the inside I gessoed over a pretty paper, it cover all the shiny bits but gave a beautiful texture, I used gelatos to color it all the reds and oranges pinks I had and blended it with water..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qm8eux6qEus/VB3MQYt0IiI/AAAAAAAAR0U/wXsqfMyUBdA/s1600/P1170076.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qm8eux6qEus/VB3MQYt0IiI/AAAAAAAAR0U/wXsqfMyUBdA/s1600/P1170076.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I added a envelope with a thinking of you card inside..<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2aKMlE92c-o/VB3MTJPPCnI/AAAAAAAAR0c/jD6xyR0wSDY/s1600/P1170077.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2aKMlE92c-o/VB3MTJPPCnI/AAAAAAAAR0c/jD6xyR0wSDY/s1600/P1170077.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I stamped one of my favorite quotes on some gessoed dictionary page..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GlwV9PmhmG0/VB3MZICu3XI/AAAAAAAAR0s/EAS9w_Kddzo/s1600/P1170079.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GlwV9PmhmG0/VB3MZICu3XI/AAAAAAAAR0s/EAS9w_Kddzo/s1600/P1170079.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I had stamped the faith image on the paper but it got smeared so I stamped it on more gessoed book page, with the word love in the middle and put it on top...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Lxbe6i87KAc/VB3MsNJ6-zI/AAAAAAAAR1c/UYW7HdB-5QE/s1600/P1170085.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Lxbe6i87KAc/VB3MsNJ6-zI/AAAAAAAAR1c/UYW7HdB-5QE/s1600/P1170085.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I made my favorite circles with a lid from a hairspray bottle with some Fresco paints, yes I said paints, my wonderful sis Sandy got me 5 of the translucent paints. I have been experimenting with them still need a lots of practice, I keep watching the Paper artys video's.<br />
I stamped some french script in pomegranate stamping up ink and a small butterfly all over , then stamped memories in black ink, if you look at it on the large setting you can see the texture on the page.<br />
I have to get back to my desk and get my challenge for the Dragons done. I was sick most of last week so I have a lot to get caught up on, I'm feeling better now, and will be around to visit later.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, just a quick short post, I made a card for one of the Ladies at swimming for the gang to sign.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-o2b3UD3_NY8/VBgQMuEaQYI/AAAAAAAARy8/psihvOdFsUc/s1600/P1170068.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-o2b3UD3_NY8/VBgQMuEaQYI/AAAAAAAARy8/psihvOdFsUc/s1600/P1170068.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, a quick little card I was asked to make.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My friend Mildred asked me to make her a card for a friend who was getting 2 new Siamese kittens, I said of course I would, yikes what was I going to make, I had no idea.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is what I came up with...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dIi9U8MJ8Lk/VA4JR_SqjYI/AAAAAAAARtQ/pvsSbqEe9Ck/s1600/P1170044.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dIi9U8MJ8Lk/VA4JR_SqjYI/AAAAAAAARtQ/pvsSbqEe9Ck/s1600/P1170044.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
A Z card, I used a brown envelope for the base so it would stand up nicely. I had some blue and white card stock, I covered the bottom with Tim's mowed lawn, to make it look like grass and the sky.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8_Y_hzIJqS4/VA4JVNfW-9I/AAAAAAAARtY/Ff1y497wsLw/s1600/P1170045.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8_Y_hzIJqS4/VA4JVNfW-9I/AAAAAAAARtY/Ff1y497wsLw/s1600/P1170045.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
My friend Sheila photo copied some cartoon kittens, I fussy cut them out, punch out some butterflies and dragonflies, making it look like the kittens were chasing after them..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8S46aMXn7K8/VA4JjlrR_JI/AAAAAAAARto/P73AUikrOto/s1600/P1170047.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8S46aMXn7K8/VA4JjlrR_JI/AAAAAAAARto/P73AUikrOto/s1600/P1170047.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped the sentiment welcome to the family Nutmeg and Jessie Sept. 2014, the writing is a little wonky but it certainly looks home made :O), then stamped I wished for you and love a few times<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1DbIeiwfGGE/VA4Jl_T2OvI/AAAAAAAARtw/gI9_BLYlGQo/s1600/P1170048.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1DbIeiwfGGE/VA4Jl_T2OvI/AAAAAAAARtw/gI9_BLYlGQo/s1600/P1170048.JPG" height="320" width="168" /></a></div>
I colored the kittens with Tim's inks<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YzGo6yuMus0/VA4J3IXowLI/AAAAAAAARug/odG6vgNHeYA/s1600/P1170054.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YzGo6yuMus0/VA4J3IXowLI/AAAAAAAARug/odG6vgNHeYA/s1600/P1170054.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
On the back I stamped the butterflies and dragonflies on the scene..<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by my nest to see my Kitten card, it was actually fun to make and your wonderful comments make my day..<br />
I wanted to remind you Miss Chris <a href="http://pearshapedcrafting.blogspot.ca/" target="_blank">here</a> is doing her blog hop tomorrow, please drop by and give her some love..<br />

So a little about me, she said trembling :)..<br />
I'm single and have no children, so my work became a huge part of my life. I loved helping people always trying to bring a smile to someones face, I LOVE to laugh, always being the joker...<br />
I was a cook for 30 year, working in the nonprofit community, I worked 10 years with The Good Shepherd, they run a food line for the homeless and have 24 residents. Then worked in a Woman's shelter for 10 years, then in a Nursing home for the Elderly.<br />
I loved my work so when I had to stop for health reasons, I didn't know what I would do with myself.<br />
My youngest sister Sandy who lives in England and is a textile artist, got me into a creative journey I never would have imagined. She introduced me to an Art group on line called Like Minded Threads, there was over 200 members all different kind of artist, wonderful caring women and a few gentlemen, sharing there creations and supporting each other in everything, what a wonderful caring bunch of artist. After a year, well with me always nattering away with all the lovely Ladies, the owner of the group had to retire the group for health reasons and asked me if I could run the group. Luckily this changed my whole life, I ran it for 4 years till I became too ill to do it anymore.<br />
Sorry I do tend to natter, as we Magpie do :)<br />
Now I go swimming in the morning and listen to music creating at my desk the rest of the day ...<br />
<br />
What am I working on now?<br />
<br />
I have kept a bunch of used teabags, emptied the tea out ( put it in a jar, never know when I can use it) and then stamped them with some wee stamps.. I always use any ink left on my stamps and off stamp it on book pages..<br />

<br />
You see I just HAVE to create, and it also keeps me out of trouble...<br />
<br />
How does my creative process work?<br />
<br />
I'm usually making gifts, cards, I love to make my own product, gesso, spray inks, gelli plate and I always try to do the challenge with the Dragons Dream, I take whatever theme I'm working on. Go through my shelves and papers, gather things I think will flow together. I love to make my own background papers, for this I was inspired by the uber talented Miss Julie Ann, then just go with the flow till I'm finished. I'm best at working on one thing at a time....<br />
<br />
<br />
How do I stay focused and motivated?<br />
<br />
That's easy I don't have cable so don't watch TV, I do watch a few shows on line, Coronation Street. My front room is all my craft room, nothing to distract me. I spend a lot of time visiting all my Lovely followers and find an abundance of inspiration, they make my creativity soar, I have to thank them for that or I wouldn't be able to make what I create with out them....<br />
<br />
I'm suppose to pass this on so I am honored to nominate Chris at pear shape crafting, were mates in being pear shape, her blog is<br />
<a href="http://pearshapedcrafting.blogspot.ca/" target="_blank">here</a> she is a wonderful creative, artist and she also take you on some lovely arm chair travels in her beautiful country and we always dream with the Dragons. She will do her creative blog post on Sept. 15th, keep a look out for it, it's gonna be great to learn more about her...<br />
Under my tree what a wonderful blog tittle <a href="http://irissousmonarbre.blogspot.ca/" target="_blank">here</a> Miss Iris who has the most beautiful french blog from France, gorgeous photo, she shares her garden and wonderful poetry and makes beautiful creations..<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, back with another tag to enter the challenge with the Dragons <a href="http://dragon-dragonsdream.blogspot.ca/" target="_blank">here</a>, this was a stumper for me, the letter Y and transport.... I had NO stamp or anything to do with transport,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
"Tonniece" to the rescue, she stamped a few things and some lovely die cuts, I didn't use them all :). The dragon team have made some amazing tags...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yTz-llOVFaI/VAXSNWcT5xI/AAAAAAAARrw/dSQZSQeNO7A/s1600/P1170038.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yTz-llOVFaI/VAXSNWcT5xI/AAAAAAAARrw/dSQZSQeNO7A/s1600/P1170038.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I started with a black and white vintage design card stock, applied watered gesso over it, dripped and splashed some ecoline ink, sepia and burnt sienna all over, made some circles through some sequin waste, with brown corduroy, stamped some script. Roughed up all the edges and curled the corners, I tore out a backing of the corrugate, went over it lightly with rusty hinge paint, added inca gold all around the edges, on the car, bike and pumpkin coach. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZEOxbzHw3Qc/VAXSJ2cCQ4I/AAAAAAAARro/Yy8YM_7SfQY/s1600/P1170037.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZEOxbzHw3Qc/VAXSJ2cCQ4I/AAAAAAAARro/Yy8YM_7SfQY/s1600/P1170037.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I used some old letters from a game for my word, inked them with rusty hinge, I added a thick layer of clear nail polish, wasn't thick enough so I used some crackle accents around the letters, then some poge with clear rock candy, edged them with my inca gold.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-s442VqEVPHc/VAXSQ70-3cI/AAAAAAAARr4/d-lgTAL0M_o/s1600/P1170039.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-s442VqEVPHc/VAXSQ70-3cI/AAAAAAAARr4/d-lgTAL0M_o/s1600/P1170039.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I Yearn for the time we all believed<br />
in magic and fairy tales, when one<br />
would look at the bottom of the gardens<br />
for the fairies...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
( the coach is my stamp, I didn't think I could create a tag with only this stamp)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6yKHe34o0X8/VAXSU9GiMgI/AAAAAAAARsA/XTIfKNIRdVg/s1600/P1170040.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6yKHe34o0X8/VAXSU9GiMgI/AAAAAAAARsA/XTIfKNIRdVg/s1600/P1170040.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I Yearn for the days when riding a dangerous vehicle was a penny farthing and a Sunday drive in a model T Ford, driving slow enough to see and drink in the country side.<br />
The penny farthing is a die cut and I fussy cut the car, used foam tape to add the dimension, colored them with copics.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ke6kdus0qEE/VAXSYf0RCKI/AAAAAAAARsI/x41Ls5juNYs/s1600/P1170041.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ke6kdus0qEE/VAXSYf0RCKI/AAAAAAAARsI/x41Ls5juNYs/s1600/P1170041.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
For the topping I punched 2 holes with my cropadile, added some curly yarns, that was from a purse handle, I made a bow with some string from a burlap bag I just took apart, I painted a tiny wooden oval with rusty hinge, stamped a Y, edged it with inca gold. I tried making the bow like our Lovely Miss Tracy Evan, as she does,<br />
she makes the most gorgeous bows...<br />
I have been dealing with my interest provider, after many, many conversations, they were NO help so now I had to re sign up with all you Lovelies with my new address, put my new email address on top of my blog, it will be wonderful to get some mail in I have been in withdrawals. They wanted me to get my mail on the web, NOT, I like my outlook program, anywho, things should be better, they better be I 'm doing a creative blog hop on Sept 8th, see you then.<br />
Thanks so much for visiting my nest , you make my day, ((( BIG HUGS )))<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies, I just wanted to share my DS Shirley's BD gift.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I created the ATB to look just like her Humming Bird cottage..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I wanted to take the photos outside her cottage but the lovely rain prevented that.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I must have caught a bug when I was up there and have been sick for 3 days in bed, better now, thank goodness, :), which is why I haven't posted this or visited anyone..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rutEmAosUps/U_nPHc2YL3I/AAAAAAAARgk/4qnosW8sBoU/s1600/P1170019.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rutEmAosUps/U_nPHc2YL3I/AAAAAAAARgk/4qnosW8sBoU/s1600/P1170019.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I used some lovely old coasters from the Queens Jubilee in 1977..<br />
I made it like I usually do but then had to create a roof, I used 2 for the roof and 1 cut in half to create the angle on it. I made some paper for the wood siding and the roof tiles. I had to make a deck, so I glued some Popsicle sticks on an old wood trivet I had, in my stash..<br />
I used a envelope that had a mesh pattern on it for all the windows, then cut thin strips from old book pages to use for framing them, love how they turned out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNLiGvtJ9JClFDK02hLTcgc0Q3Ojovib4TVRqOs26cvdotixFfUZgFt39FM0e2x8eDklUT2dZoBD8TenrZdrABuz_RrjOuFMTJmzZTY9ipPSaBWjTdZ8RyvTPnjlBGwzKvspgCVu_38pR8/s1600/P1170022.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNLiGvtJ9JClFDK02hLTcgc0Q3Ojovib4TVRqOs26cvdotixFfUZgFt39FM0e2x8eDklUT2dZoBD8TenrZdrABuz_RrjOuFMTJmzZTY9ipPSaBWjTdZ8RyvTPnjlBGwzKvspgCVu_38pR8/s1600/P1170022.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4vNeeveR_qI/U_nSahtu1oI/AAAAAAAARkg/Zpy4VIF4neA/s1600/P1170021.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4vNeeveR_qI/U_nSahtu1oI/AAAAAAAARkg/Zpy4VIF4neA/s1600/P1170021.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I stamped 2 humming birds on acetate, coloring them with blue and green pebeo paint, cut them out to put under the eaves , I made some hummingbird feeders from red beads and sequins, I only made 5, she has 14 of them all around and lots of chimes, no time to make them.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iWkw4foCBV0/U_nOZzJE-2I/AAAAAAAARfw/sdJa06xe_Rs/s1600/P1170020.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iWkw4foCBV0/U_nOZzJE-2I/AAAAAAAARfw/sdJa06xe_Rs/s1600/P1170020.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
She has one large glass window with no screen in the front, I used a piece of paper looking like clouds and cut a piece of acetate to make it look like the sky reflecting in it..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3KSiUbpFqYI/U_nPf162_BI/AAAAAAAARhA/R7kOVIVJpAE/s1600/P1170023.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3KSiUbpFqYI/U_nPf162_BI/AAAAAAAARhA/R7kOVIVJpAE/s1600/P1170023.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
Oh my goodness I have my Mothers hands, spooky :O)..<br />
I put the rest of the coasters inside. I didn't cover the inside, I thought she would like that concept, it matches the coasters inside.<br />
I made the hinge stronger by adding some book binding tape behind the paper..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Made the snow shoes out of the same mesh envelope, just turning the paper to change the angles of the lines, I made the table and chairs from tiny spools and round wooden circles for the tops, glued a piece of acetate on the table, hers has glass on it, inked them all with broken china. I found a scrap of paper that matched her cushions, a half of a circle for the backs. the white light I used a bead cap a bead and a piece of toothpick, gessoed it , I had a fish charm, hung it with a twisted wire, I poked a hole in the coaster into hang it and all the feeders. She has a huge creepy iron spider, I get chills just thinking about it, I had a tiny stamp of a spider,image that, my friend just lent me in a bunch of tiny stamps, I'll be using them on some stained tea bags..<br />
Ghees another long post, thanks for stopping by my nest and letting me share this, I had so much fun making it, I love to make miniatures. I have so many wonderful memories of my many times there it was a pure labor of love.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello my Lovelies sorry I've been posting lots, this is my last post till I get back, I promise..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Well I had so much joy creating my tag, my wonderful Cuz Miss Julie Ann picked this weeks challenge, RUST and the letter O..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm entering this into the challenge <a href="http://dragon-dragonsdream.blogspot.ca/" target="_blank">here</a>, have a look and see the wonderful work created by the design team..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
SQUAWK I'm crazy about rust, so I looked in my trusty tiny dictionary, when I read Ocher I knew this would be my word, love that color..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I googled images of it and was so surprised to see all the different things that had ocher in their tittle, so there started my dreaming..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sorry for the lighting it was a wonderful dark rainy day, it makes me very happy, I know everyone tells me I'm crazy, I like to think I enjoy the simple things....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tTtyJ9N4xZo/U_HWyvOtkDI/AAAAAAAARVs/zjg2bHUE6Ww/s1600/P1160848.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tTtyJ9N4xZo/U_HWyvOtkDI/AAAAAAAARVs/zjg2bHUE6Ww/s1600/P1160848.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I started with a piece of my rusted cotton,frayed all the edges, found all the stamps I had to use and stamped them in gathered twigs, I did a bit of coloring with my copics..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xl8OKR6JYeQ/U_HWvlC19nI/AAAAAAAARVk/2CKqtAn55nY/s1600/P1160850.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xl8OKR6JYeQ/U_HWvlC19nI/AAAAAAAARVk/2CKqtAn55nY/s1600/P1160850.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You can see some of the rusty chicken wire with curly cues,, I used to hang it and added some strips of ribbon I tore up to dangle..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CJFL1cHGtbw/U_HWmZUYTuI/AAAAAAAARVc/bKrEsDjr86U/s1600/P1160860.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CJFL1cHGtbw/U_HWmZUYTuI/AAAAAAAARVc/bKrEsDjr86U/s1600/P1160860.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For my letter I colored a small wooden block with rusty hinge, then dripped some rust crayon and stamped my wax stamp which just happens to be an O added some Inca gold over the letter.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
There is a bird called Ocher which is two tones of brown and yellow around his eyes..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Ocher butterfly is spotted blue,brown and white</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-q19wcguoH_0/U_HWdfL-eqI/AAAAAAAARVU/OM5HOv5UNlI/s1600/P1160853.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-q19wcguoH_0/U_HWdfL-eqI/AAAAAAAARVU/OM5HOv5UNlI/s1600/P1160853.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
There is a Tribe in Africa that paint themselves in ocher clay around where they live, I just happened to find this stamp ( Tonniece gave me 3 black ladies, NBUS ) which look exactly like this tribe, amazing.<br />
I love it when a plan comes together, :O)....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QpVyFjKhxrw/U_HXI2zYlII/AAAAAAAARWA/Nig77HSCnOU/s1600/P1160856.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QpVyFjKhxrw/U_HXI2zYlII/AAAAAAAARWA/Nig77HSCnOU/s1600/P1160856.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I had to add a nest made from a tiny grapevine wreath filled with the threads I frayed and colored the eggs (beads) as I imagined they would look..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jLpLrr6efSY/U_HXLeBiyXI/AAAAAAAARWM/Msp6MJkjGds/s1600/P1160855.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jLpLrr6efSY/U_HXLeBiyXI/AAAAAAAARWM/Msp6MJkjGds/s1600/P1160855.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
There is also an ocher mushroom and a beautiful ocher starfish which I had to make, I cut it out inked it with rusty hinge, added some white dots with my sharpie and added gold stickles it were still wet when I took the pics..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-G7lYDQkxzkA/U_HWc2IxTwI/AAAAAAAARVQ/y-1exDok8ww/s1600/P1160858.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-G7lYDQkxzkA/U_HWc2IxTwI/AAAAAAAARVQ/y-1exDok8ww/s1600/P1160858.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
I put it on an old piece of cardboard picture backing, added some glue and poured some rust powder I got from the rusted chicken wire and some rusted clay from Little Rock Arkansas all around the frame...<br />
Okay I'm off to bed, were off early for our trip, I'll be taking pics of the ATB cottage on the deck up there...<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by my nest, your visits mean the world to me. See you all when I get back ((( BIG HUGS ))).<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello all you wonderful creative visitors, I want to tell you how much you all inspire me, I was thinking that while I was creating my Cottage ATB, my heart has been singing out loud by all the creations I have been absorbing, I could not do what I do without you my Lovelies, THANK YOU...</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XJ6nYULV0FM/U_HYGeOFN3I/AAAAAAAARXU/trAwJoT2B2A/s1600/P1160872.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XJ6nYULV0FM/U_HYGeOFN3I/AAAAAAAARXU/trAwJoT2B2A/s1600/P1160872.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
I'm trying to play catch up before I leave, sharing what I have already made, this dress has been on the back burner for a while now. My DS Sandy has been telling me to use my paper towels I keep from when I'm pouring my inks. There was lots of white still there so I made some sprays and colored them all up, then they sat in a folder for a while.<br />
I'm really glad I created it, I had a ball for 2 days making this, my hands suffered but it was sure worth it....<br />
I used my dress templates I made, cover it with the paper towels, then folded 2 layers added light pink netting in between, the top layer I stamped it with swirls, and gathered it together to give it softer folds. I used 2 pieces of lace for the waist piece, I folded a paper towel to form the bodice. Added a piece of step ladder yarn to be able to hang it..<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--5eFPH1tkd4/U_HXw-XlsnI/AAAAAAAARW4/lq1zRLf_h3s/s1600/P1160862.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--5eFPH1tkd4/U_HXw-XlsnI/AAAAAAAARW4/lq1zRLf_h3s/s1600/P1160862.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;">The jewel on her bodice is a piece of necklace. Glued on some foam butterfly's to hide the wires, used stardust stickles on top.</span></div>
