DREAMING WITH THE DRAGONS....

Hello my Lovelies I was dreaming for the last couple of days with the Amazing Dragons, they never fail to inspire me to dream along, you can see yourself  here.. The challenge from Elizabeth is the letter I and butterflies. Incredible is my word for butterflies, from when they start their lives as furry little caterpillars, metamorphosing in to one of the most beautiful specimens on earth, their colors are unbelievable even the clear winged ones, which I did try to make but that didn't work :)...

I started out poring some ink, Ecoline magenta, Tim's lemonade on my glass, sprayed some water and swirled  4 different papers around in it, I choose this one from a mixed media paper. Forgot to take anymore photos, till I finished today, sorry..
I wanted a backing of cardboard of course, peeled it and colored it with Tim's rusty hinge paint, I edged everything with Tin's black soot ink and Inca gold, I sprayed some water in my jar and used a paint brush to add the gold accents and edges.
I sanded a piece of orange and red paper, then stamped it with a butterfly boarder stamp for a background piece adding a bit more depth to the tag,
On the top tag ,I added my favorite circles, stamped an I in them, a bit of script. I added some shimmery gelatos, oranges, around the butterflies..

Colored the ribbon with the same gelatos and stamped with Stamping Up pomegranate ink. There is a fancy copper I, in the corner, its a stick on one.

Made a tiny tag from a tiny piece of water color paper decorated it to match the big one, cut out the word from a thesaurus and glued it on top, added it with a brad...

I stamped the top butterfly on the tag, stamped it on some acetate and pressed it below to make a refection, hoping the shimmery gelatos helped that look. I added a couple of orange jewels to their wing and the Inca gold, Iv'e never added a reflection before, should be in water or a mirror or something :)..

I added one of my butterflies made from a feather, they are painted so I just added the gold to edge ..
Since this is flaming in July, I'm going to enter this in the challenge over at Our Creative Corner here, I know, imagine that, some of my lovely Ladies are on their Designer Dream Team, there is some amazing creation made by them, that will blow your socks off...
Thanks so much for visiting my humble nest, I'm taking a wee break from tearing apart my studio ( front room ), that humidity will begin on Wed, here in Ontario, not sure when I'll be posting agin, but will be around to visit when I can.
Deb is still in the hospital, hanging in there, thanks so much for all your good wishes and prayers I know they help....
 ((( BIG HUGS )))..

                                        NAMASTE!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that Deb is still in hospital, Dianne. I am keeping her in my prayers and sending positive thoughts for her comfort.

Your tag is breathtaking! The way you did that reflection is genius and the (has to be real) butterfly adornment is magnificent!! I keep expecting you to tell us about the one-woman gallery show you are doing, that's how awesome your creations are!

Come and see me when you come back from your break so that I know you have returned! Good luck with the studio tearing apart that must be done! Big hugs, Darnell
