LAST OF THE ATCS

 

 

 

Well I have them all finished, I saved the best for last....^-^..
I did stamp on them but forgot to take a pic.
I only have a few punches and had used them already a few times.
So I thought I would create a different type of window and I
looooove how theses turned out.
I edged them all with walnuts, shabby shutters. I poured clear nail polish
on all my windows on all the atcs...

ATCS

I used a paper I had gessoed a butterfly, stamped some butterfly's
over it, added a tattoo with all the coloured ones, a little sticky one in
the bottom corner..

I love the time card I inked, thought it would go with the joker
stamped magic a few times, added some copper sticky peel offs..

I had to make a bird one ^-^..
II got a beautiful download from Astrid http://astridsartisticefforts.blogspot.ca/
who kindly gives them away free
every Fri, she is such a doll, I loved the birds so got
 my friend to copy it for me.
Stamped the bird stamps I had that fit and made a little nest with a
little bird on top of the card....

VINTAGE ATC

 

 

 

 

This was the hardest one to make imagine me and cardboard.
I don't have hardly any vintage things, I was separating all my
sticky peel offs and found a few things I could use.
I have had this piece of cardboard I was using to spray some of
my shimmer inks under things and was waiting to use it.
I peeled the corners back edged it all in walnut ink.
Added some old postage stamps for the corners and some peel off
stickers..
I'll be back Thursday with my special ones and the last of them :O)..

MORE ATCS

Hope your not getting tired of these :) I have a few more to come..

I used a coffee filter which I soaked up some inks with swept some
metallic blue over it, used gold pen around, stamped, and made a
flower from the circles cut the petals..

 I used a time card I had stamped, stamped on it again, used the circle
to make a flower..

 

Used my inked water colour paper, punched out the middle and
used  a bamboo stamp, I had spritz the card with my walnut ink first.

The 2 round cards used up scraps stamped on it and used stickles.

ANOTHER SET DONE..

I've been so busy, trying to finish the atcs I haven't even had much time
to visit all my blog friends, I'll be around as soon as I can, I miss ya..
These were the cut from some inked paper with my walnut ink dripped on top.

 

I glued, stamped edged them with black soot.
All the holes I punched out, I covered them with
clear nail polish so they would look like glass.

Hello my lovely followers, I'm excited to show the finished
card set, A teacher and her students, I think of them :O)..
I just stamped  the Chinese poetry from the  Far East
 set by
Inkadinkado, it has faces, bamboo, I'll show a pic of them
in one of these post, they were a fab gift from Tonniece :)..
I have another small set of Chinese stamps, I will be using a
few of these in the atcs, so keep watching if you like and
I'll BE BACK ^-^, to show more..

PROGRESS ON ATCS Part 2

AHH, my beautiful Chinese Ladies, I loooove them..
I have just glued them.

I rounded the corners to fit the card,
I used worn lipstick on the window and black soot on the edges.
Close ups in next post.
I have to apologise for doing this in so many post, as far as I know
blogger won't let me post more then 4 photos, if anybody know how
I can do this I would love to know, other bloggers post are fabulous
all in one.. Thanks.

CLOSE UPS Part3

 

 

 

I'm so excited about these, my watercolor paper I made
first I had a large stencil I had used in another page and
didn't want to waste the gesso left on it so I laid the gessoed part
on a clean page then lifted it off, it left some scattered gesso
on the paper.
Then I had leftover watercolor paint in my palette, I dripped
it on the page spritzed a bit of water on top.
The page was lovely but I love it as the background
for my Beauty's it gives it an vintage look...

PROGRESS ON MY ATCS

I just want to tell all the fabulous artist I visit everyday
blow my socks off, that is all the card artist, mixed
media artist, have inspired me soooo much,
you artist all know who you are, too many to mention,
You have all taught me so many things,
I can only dedicate my creating of these atcs to you
Thanks you so much, enough of my blubbering on to
the creating.....

I tore some inked and stamped time cards I made,
I podged them on leaving a part of the card showing,
cover the Ace of spades in gunmetal stickles,
closet thing I have to black,
I used tea bag on top and walnut ink on the edges., 

 

I rubbed some deep gold metallic rub ons and love the look, so I
put gold stickles on the Ace too, I loooove gold being a Magpie
and all :O)..

ATCS RECEIVED IN A SWAP..

 

 

 

When I was running my group we did a lot of swaps, one of them
was ATCs, that was back in 2005. Aren't they gorgeous..
There is even one made of polymer clay, amazing.
Mine is the one in the last pic, the one with all that stuff on it,
the Goddess..
We were a mixed bunch of artist so they were in different mediums.
 It was wonderful receiving art from around the world, its amazing how
 artist interpret things in all their unique ways.
There is a challenge for Atcs, I've been seeing a lot of artist making them again.
With all the new mediums, techniques, they have become little pieces
of art work,, so I will be entering the challenge, I have around 26 of them on the go.
I'll save all of that stuff for my next post
