GIFT BOX

This is for Jam's friend coming from Amsterdam
for the holidays.
Dollar store box I painted it gold on the lid I used
the tec that Fiona does.
Apply a thick layer of glue, ( clear drying kind)
then added some drops of alcohol ink.
I was suppose to do 2 colours then blow dry,
add other colour and dry again. sadly
I added all the colours together and the colour got
mucky. I didn't mind who it turned out, I went
over it with gold cream rub.
I used a piece from a necklace to embellish the lid.
Added gold ribbon and gold bead rope.
The hole in the front was  covered with chicken wire so
I cover it with gold ribbon.
I painted some little wooden blocks gold and
added them to make feet.
Sorry the pics aren't great.

BRAG BOOK PHOTO ALBUM

This is the book that went into the box in
last posting, for my friend Jan.
I found the chip board photo books at
Micheal's in the $1.50 bin.
I got 2 of them and joined them together.
I ran my distressed ink pads over the chip
board then lined the out side with gold ink.
I used dollar store metal letters, strung them
on thread glued them down. I added more
$ store bling to the end, added her name.

CORNERS

I wanted to cover the corners of the box  so
I searched my stuff found a acetate box from
some perfume I kept:) never throwing any thing
out. So I cut it up to fit, it matches the design on
the side of the lid. I also put nail polish over them
so they don't come off, hopefully.

BOX

My Friend Jan asked me to decorate a boot box
for her she is going to ship it full of craft goodies.
The lady is moving to a home and will be able
to have this for her room.
I used sparkly wrapping paper, added her name
to it and a couple of shinny words and stuff LOL.
I added 2 little fairies to protect her. Then  put
a sticky trim on the lid. I went over the foam letters
with liquid clear nail polish 5 coats so they will stay
on the box.

Most of the things I use I buy from Charity shops
I have bought a few things we all must use :)
and will try to mention these things when I do.
I apologise to anyone I offended by not mentioning
there products

PICNIC BASKET

First off I have to mention a very lovely and very
talented Lady named Fiona http://www.youtube.com/user/Jennings644
MY BF Tonniece  showed me this Lady.
Boy has she inspired me. She makes everything herself
and shows you how to do it. Her videos are like, your
in her craft room with her and is she funny too.
I made this picnic basket and a box which I will
show later. I used the technique using glue and
alcohol inks.
The stick pins and embellishments were from
her videos too.
Hopefully When I go see my DS in Cambridge
England I can plan a visit to meet this wonderfully
inspiring woman.

STICK PINS & BLING:):)

More inspireation from Fiona, my stick pins
are small, I need 3in sticks these will be OK
for cards. I made 4 in the bottom pic and my
friend Sheila made 2.
The top pic is the bling, embellishments for anything.
I would like to get a thin glue gun, mine gives too much glue
so you can see it underneath.
I love making my own things to use so thanks again Fiona.
She will probably never see this but what the heck:):)

PURSE FULL OF GIFT CARDS

I made purse out of an old plastic pkg I had.
What do you give a girl (my friend Jan) who
has everything LOL..
She always gives lots of gift cards so I thought
I would make her some.
I saw some kool ones on splitcoast, easy, peasy.
Then after I made them I realized they wouldn't
fit in my normal envelopes sooo I had to make
my own, I added some stickers to seal them..
I made 5 Christmas ones  and 5 plain ones.
