PAGE 6 & 7 FARIES IN THE MEADOWS

Hello my Lovelies, I have to finish my book today, I have lots of other things to post so this is a little photo heavy..
Now these girls are special, they are the Queen Ann Lace Fairies, and you can only see them at night they play in the moonlight..

This is Rhiannon  and Eolande, they are Irish pixies, they are always dancing in the moon light, I don't know where they go in the day time...

I used Tim's paint and ink,  use the same process on the pages, as others...

Now these are my flower  and mushroom fairies..
This is sweet Brucie, she loves to play around the roses always sniffing them, saying " don't they smell wonderful"..

This is Maurelle she guards the the fairy gate in the magic mushroom circle, not just anybody can go through there..
There is a storm coming and the fairies have gone home...
I loved making this book and have been honored you have stopped by to see it all, thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a wonderful week, I've got a couple of gifts I made to show you so I'll post them soon.... ((( BIG HUGS)))

PAGE 4 & 5 OF THE FAIRIES ON THE MEADOW...

Hello my Lovelies, my next two pages.
These girls like to hang in the trees, keeping an eye out for any humans. These are my 2 favorite fairy stamps I own, don't tell the others, wouldn't want to hurt their feelings...

This is Ellete, she is an elf, from Wales, and best friends with the fairies, she is a lot bigger, and a lot older, so she looks after them, like a Mom, she is so beautiful and very loving.. I used my Tim's paint for the background, stamped the lovely foliage that comes with the set, I didn't mention  the wild flowers foliage, they are Penny Blacks Tweet Tweet set, I added some stickles, for the fairy dust around her..
This is Breena, also from Wales and Ellete's best friend isn't she tooooo cute, she helps to look after the younger fairies...
I used Tim's ink pads, to create this background. water spots, some stickles on her wings..

Some more love mail came on Friday, a gorgeous card from Sue Lelli Here. she is a wonderful card designer and mixed media artist, also does gorgeous scrap booking. She made a journal page and a matching card, Sue knows I love maps so sent me some love, It has a clear embossed compass on top you can't see it in this photo, I looooove it, can't wait till she gets the love I sent her..

The sun is shining, our clocks went back, guess that means spring is here, I wish some one would tell Mother nature, it's still -17C out there.
I have some very special business at my desk, well you know I have been playing along with the Dragon Team, they as so generously asked me to be this challenge Guest Designer SQUAWK, I never thought I would say that, I'm so honored, a little scared, but really excited, I'll be at my desk until I finish, then I'll fly around to visit later, have a wonderful Sunday.. PAGE 2&3 FAIRIES IN THE MEADOW

Hello my Lovelies, I'm back with page 2 and 3, Now thisese are my 2 English Fairies, they are very funny, always making me laugh, they sound so cute with their accents, love their style of dress, fancy dress I think .....

This is Gelsey, she is so tiny and very sweet.. I did the background with Tim's paints with some water, eekks really warped the board, makes it hard to stamp on, I did this side first while the back of the other page was drying... Okay no more water LOL just drops..
This is Darnell and she is a cheeky girl, very quick witted, she always talking about a hamster heheheh..
I created the background with Tim's ink pads lots of  water drops, used copies on the flowers and fairies, stickles on their wings and the white sharpie on the meadow flowers, I added some dots with the sequin waste with my big white pen, love these board pages with the ink pads. The sentiment came with the new set, and what would the world be with out Fairies....

I've been working on a kimono, iris folding if you can believe it, first time trying it, with the squares of silk I got as a gift.I'm not sure how it will work with material. I got half way through, now I'm stumped, so Tonniece is coming over tomorrow to help me, she is an expert on iris folding, or any kind of folding, what would I do with out her :). There is a few hours of sun left, so will go back and play with something else, I'll  be flying around after the sun goes down, a little scary flying at night but your worth it :O).
Thanks a bunch for stopping by, have a wonderful day, ((( BIG HUGS)))..

FAIRIES IN THE MEADOW....

Hello my lovelies, spring is in the air, it's going to be 1 C, hopefully coming out of our deep freeze. Since last Friday I've been having a love affair at my desk, I'm craaaazy about fairy's. I found the book I won with my Fabre Castel  stuff, got my fairy stamps, my new meadow flowers, Tim's goodies, and had some big fun...
Started and stayed till I was finished, I couldn't stop..
I've have hardly been visiting so I have all weekend to do that.
I will show you a couple of pages every day..

The cover, I covered it with molding paste in a thick layer, got an old whipper and pressed it in the paste to get the circles, I went over it with rusty hinge and forest moss,  spritz it with water, I did the same to a small piece of water color paper, then stamped Believe.
I have an old Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Calender and that's where I got a few sentences in the book it seem appropriate..

I used the paints and water to the seam binding, edged it with the rusty hinge ink pad, stamped the meadow flowers..

My first page is really strange, because I gessoed it then used the paints with water, now I watched Limor Webber do all 6 pages, with gelatos, and lots of water, my the pages warped, even split almost in half  not sure why this happened, so I did tried not to add to much water to the rest of the book, it was much better anyway..
This gessoed page, hhmm, the stamp almost slid across the page,  it didn't hold the color very good, I always have to learn from my mistakes hahaha...
These are my little dancing fairies this is Suzette, blowing bubbles..

This is Tatiana spreading fairy dust, I used my ink pads to color the page, I could make water droplets in the ink, I used  stickles for all their wings I used my copics to add some color to the flowers, to give them a bit of definition, and my white Sharpie to make all the  flower tops, loooooooove them.
"She's a wild and gentle flower." was my them song in the early 70, anytime I got my hands on some Queen Anne's Lace I would wear it in my hair, I was a wild child.....
Thanks so much for stopping by my crazy nest, your visit make my day. Have a wonderful day,  ((( BIG HUGS)))..
