WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE.

I just got to my desk yesterday, and have a few thing happening:)..
I made the star box a while ago, but I had no idea how to decorate
the lid.
I added some acetate under the punched boarder to strengthen it.
I made some flowers from crepe paper, I have half a shoe box of old
crepe paper, do you remember when it was thick and double sided,
different color, its very thick and lovely and sturdy,.
I found a couple of videos how to make flowers with crepe paper.
Mine came
out a little different,,
I like how they turned out.
The one with the read clip on it is or was a deep purple one one side a
pale greyish mauve, I made the flower then rubbed it in black soot.
I sprayed it with water to mix the ink, but when it got wet, I became
dark purple, will se how it looks when dry..
I have some feathers to add and a few bits and bobs..

I wanted to empty the ink I made so,
so I sprayed, dropped it in blobs, blew it with a straw,  I let it run on the page..
I used my walnut ink for the first time in oh my 2 years.
It's been sitting in my fridge and ageing.
I sent some in my giveaways and poured a ink bottle full myself.
I did the same thing, dropped it blew on it ran it along the tags.
The ink is quite dark, black walnut:):)
I'm going to put some in a spray bottle and add alcohol, see if it lighten
it up.
I'm also working on my umm, houses, umm Monastery it seems to becoming:O).
Show that soon,
Thanks so much for visiting....

SPRAYED INK RESULTS

I used a stencilled and sprayed the colours..

I placed a paper on top of the stencil before I removed it and got this result,
the first one is a positive and the other negative, not sure which one I like
but will see after I play with them..

I crumpled my time sheets and straitened the a little then sprayed.
I love how the colours turned out..
I'm gessoing some game pieces, not sure what I'll make, no pics yet:):).

OLD INK WORK AND CHARM PIECES

I have lots going on at my desk but can't show you so I thought I
would show you what an inked paper is suppose to look like:):)..
I made this in 06, a few years ago, I see what I did wrong now.
When you scrunch the plastic and it creates air pockets, well
I squished them out even poked them with a pin,( I've lost some
of my mind oh well :):) )
Anyway, I put it on a game board, the other side is a brown
paper bag painted with metallic paint. I had my friend cut it up.
My group was making a charm swap. I have a lot of pieces
left... I'll try to find a pic of my charms. I was on my old blog yesterday
and grabed a lot of my work, now I have them in my new  comp..
Thanks for looking and have a great day..NAMESTA!!!

INKED PAPERS

Funny how things work out, because these are for a gift, they didn't
turn out the way I wanted. One they were suppose to be in shades
of purple, well this is kind of :):). Usually they nave a lot more lines
created with the plastic on top. So I will have to try again with 3
more pieces. You have to soak the water colour paper first then I
drop ink on the wet paper with a eye dropper the right away I
put the plastic on and scrunch it up. ANYWAY I'm off to wet
more pages, Have a great day,
