DRAGONS DREAM CHALLENGE

Hello my Lovelies, today is my big day to show what I created for the Dragon Dreams new challenge,

Have a hop over there to see what all the other creative artist have made, and you might even want to join in on the fun dreaming something up.. Who would of ever thought I would be asked to guest design for them, I just love to play along, so here it is.......

Sorry this is photo heavy and I do tend to chatter on, just saying...

I have a story to tell you how this all happened, I was trying my new Tim's paint on some lovely mixed media paper then my new Hampton art stamps, those I visit know I loooooove nibs, old pens.
So I thought I would make a tag, , all the time I was making it, I was wishing, I hope the new challenge at Dragon's Dream is the letter C.
The powers that be made it so. When I was asked to be their guest designer and found out it was the letter C, my wings were just a flapping, I was a very happy bird, and you had to have some metal on it, so my little tag grew into a bigger one...
                                       This is it hanging up.....
I used rust wire and lovely metal chain to attach it all together..

I had to add some extra bits, I stamped 2 bottles on a  dyed piece of paper then fussy cut them out, yup I did hahaha, then I cover this one with clear nail polish a couple of times, shaped it curved to make the bottle  appear round, glued it on with 2 glue dots.
The sign, well the paint was to dark, so I first stamped it with bleach, just put a bit of bleach on a paper towel in a plastic lid, then dabbed the stamp on it then on the paper, it lighten it up beautifully, then I stamped it in memento black ink, and stamped right on top of the bleached stamp, hope that makes sense...
This little bottle I put a bit of crackle on the top and let it drip down it, you'll have to look on the larger setting to see that...
I wanted the letter C on my tag, I cut out a piece I had already painted, bleached and stamped, placed it on top of my, hmm hmm
homemade nib, I cut up an old metal bead and shaped it to look like one of the fancy nibs on those lovely stamps, made a couple of curly cues out of some rusty wire, to add on the sides, I curled them around a stick...
I used an old metal hair clip to make the C stand up meeting the nib,  used hot glue to attach it all together..

On the corners I laid a circle on the corrugate, filled the curved corner with modeling paste, the dropped a spoon full of some rust  powder I have in a jar, which came from the rusty chicken wire my friend Tonniece gave me...
First I gessoed it then sprayed it  with some alcohol ink I made with sepia brown ink and some copper pearlex, then made the corners
For the background paper I used a piece of white card stock, was using it to stamp off my tag, I stamped it lightly a bit more with a few of the stamps in the set, used some sequin waste with rusty hinge, some drops of sepia ink with a fan brush, I made the circles with some of my walnut ink and used a toilet paper roll, roughed up the edges, tore the sides, curled them, edged it all with brown corduroy, and Inca gold.. I think that's it....

Whoosh that was a long post, hope you enjoyed my project, I had a ball creating it, thanks for visiting, hope you all have a wonderful creative week....          ((( BIG HUGS)))......

                                       NAMASTE!!!
