Hello my Lovelies, I was real happy when I saw the new challenge at the Dragons Dream, the color blue, the letter B, and a flower.
I've been waiting for that letter so I could do a bird theme..
I went a little overboard being a Magpie we tend to do that :)..
I used my 3 Tim's inks,broken china, weathered wood and faded jeans, to build the background then spritzed it with water,then stamped a flower in broken china all over both tags, on the large tag I stamped a tiny bird and the tweet one.I stamped the bottom with some birds in the grasses from my favorite stamp set from my wonderful Magpie Cuz Miss Julie Ann..
On the little tag, made from a journal page I used a game piece for the B and stamped the rest of the word and added a tiny blue bird, I lined the back with some bird washi tape and attached it with 2 tiny ribbon..
I added a Large B from the letters I received from my lovely friend Lillian, colored it with blue and Inca gold.
I fussy cut out 2 birds I had sitting around, I added a twig they could sit on, I added 2 of my feather from my stash....
I punched out 2 flowers from paper I made to go with the tag then added them to anchor the twig..
I went a little crazy with the seam binding, I colored them with gelatos and stamped them...
I'm entering this in the Dragons Dream challenge
here..
I'm working on the box I made with coffee filters, I'm making 5 tiny dresses, a hat, a shoe and some tiny perfume bottles, to fit in the slots, this is going to be Tonniece's BD gift..
Our sweet Deb had a heart attack, so they have put off the chemo until they get this fixed. I'll be by to visit when I can..

Oh, Dianne, this is so pretty! I think it is one of my favourites of all your beautiful tags! I love the birds and the feathers and those ribbons are just gorgeous! Not to mention that very lovely shade of blue!There's a whole world going on there! Sorry to hear about Debs. She is having a tough time. I think about her and you a great deal. Dianne...I read your posts and it makes me exhausted! You are a bundle of energy and a dynamo all rolled into one! I always enjoy seeing what you are up to. Your blue bird, "B" tag is so pretty with so many things to see...little details that make it so great. You always leave the sweetest comments and I truly thank you for that. Such a gorgeous tag, Dianne - you're right this recipe was made for you!! The blended blues are simply lovely, and I love that ornate gilded B letter and the birds perched on the twigs. The feathers, of course, are the perfect finishing touch - altogether wonderful!
How devastating to hear about Deb's heart attack... I'm sending so much love to you and her.
