LARGER TASSEL ANGELS

Hello my Lovelies only one day left, all my angels
are finished
My DS Sue gave me these 4 beautiful tassels, they were a
soft blue, the got sun bleached, so have a lovely row of grey
around them, I think they look kool like this.
I cut out 2 triangles of lace,  for the wings, I wanted them to be stiffer, I took some ribbon with wire in it, folded it in half glued
it together, glued it to the lace, took the other side and twisted it
to form the wing, glued them on the back.

Added some folded lace for the cape, glued a twisted ribbon
 around the throat.

I used a circle for the Halo added some stickles to make them
 shimmer...
Now I just have to finish a hhmm few tags to make,
eeks have to get on that sewing machine, I have all of
tomorrow to finish, big fun :O)..

TASSEL ANGELS..

Hello my lovelies finally got my set of Angels for
my niece's and nephews, 'I've made them a lot of Christmas
ornaments hanging in their trees.

I cut up piece's of ribbon knotted it for their hands and
glued them in the back. Cut up lace in a large triangle,
rolled the small side, glued it to the back, did the same on
the other side and hot glued a white circle to finish it off.
glued a gold ring for the halo,I have sprayed the wings with hairspray to make them stiff, hope this works.
I have 4 larger ones to make today and hope to get them posted before Christmas, my dear friend Jan has invited my self and
 my friend Sheila for Christmas dinner, so I'll be at my desk till then.
I wish a magical Christmas, abundant and joyous in every way to your heart's desire for everyone.

BIRTHDAY TAG..

Hello my Lovelies, I've been busy at my desk,
trying to get all the Christmas stuff done.
My friend Jan's BD is today so I made her one of my
tag, she is fairy crazy, even has a room just for them:O).
This is the front is above.

This is the back of the holder..

The inside, I used one of the gorgeous peacock tissues
from my Cuz Julie Ann, then the sentiment..
I dyed the seam binding and stamped on it..

The other side more fairy's..

I also made her a book mark, getting to use
my new favorite stamp from Julia Ann,
Added a few embellishments..
The back side below, I looooove this stamp..

I've made 6 angels out of tassels and will post these another day.
It's a lovely rainy day here...

HAPPY MAIL PART 1

Hello my Lovelies just stopping in to share a parcel
I received from my Cousin Julie Ann http://magpieheaven.blogspot.ca/
We are Magpie cousins..
Above are some wonderful embellishments, some
gorgeous Ladies in tea cups and pots, love them and
some sparkly crystals, which we magpie's are partial to. 

Those dyed seam bindings are gorgeous.

My Dear cousin sent me my favorite stamp.
I know we are not only cousins but soul sisters.

I have wanted this stamp for a very long time,
loooooove the birds in the grasses.
I can't wait to start playing with these, you'll probably
get sick of seeing it :O).

Hello my Lovelies, just popping in to share some Happy mail.
The gorgeous card above is from a wonderful artist, Sue Lelli
http://suelelli.blogspot.ca/ she designs for a 5 stamp company's
and does some wonderful mixed media art, she has made 100
cards, she created all the trees from her gelli plate then die cut
all the tree's, amazing, I thought my 40 was lot. Sue used some deli
paper on a card, I asked where you can get it and she kindly sent
me a stack of them, they are fabulous to stamp on, thank you my sweet friend..
 

Also my lovely friend Miss Bibiana sent a gorgeous tag with
a wooden  snowflake, which I will use as a stencil..

How kool is this made from recycled cards, my friend at swimming
Lillian, know I love to recycle things so she got me this house.
I adore it and will try to make a few for next Christmas...
I'm busy at my desk addressing my tags to post tomorrow.

A HEARTFELT THANKS, AND A CHANGE OF PLANS.

I wanted to thank all of you wonderful woman who
stopped by to leave me some LOVE, nothing helps
healing faster then that, love you all too..

I thought about my tags while I was in the hospital, I knew
I didn't like the blue file folders I had cut...
My sister has given me lots, like a box of brown pkg. paper.
I painted them with floor wax we get here in Canada, I had mine sitting in my cupboard for a few years, It's still good.

I tore them into 12in. x 12in. , I had to use my floor to dry them

Tore them to 6in. x 6in., added gathered twig to the edges,
curled the edges..

Stamped the sentiment on strips I tore on my
rusted material..

The brown paper is quite thin, I had these label sheets
edged them with the twig ( love it ) and splashed it with water.  

I attached the label to the back, added some ribbon between.
Punched it with my embossed name..
Part two below, hopefully :O).. 

PART TWO....

I've sewn the lace around, I do admit I'm not a seamstress,
it's that having to re-thread it a hundred time, my DS Sandy
who is a seamstress gave me a few tips, hoping they work..

On Saturday, my best-est Buddies Tonniece and Sheila,
came by and we had a crafting day and tons of grrrreat
medicine, laughter:):)..
Tonniece made me the bows for the tags..

I'm giving one of the lovely Ladies from swimming one of
my tags, she is a great supporter of my art and always visits
my blog, so this is what they look like, the ones going in the
post won't have all the embellishments, sorry won't fit in
the slot..
The party is tomorrow, I'm baking cinnamon rolls, out of pie
crust, my Mom always made them with left over dough.
Also some bacon and cheese one's for those of us who can't
have sugar.. It will be wonderful to see the lovely Ladies and
have some good laughs..

Hello My lovelies,I have been around have been in the hospital
 since Mon, I had a heart attack and had to have a stint put in, so
