How to TRY to fix a mistake LOL..
Still working on my tag, this was going to be the
last piece I need to cover it. I went through all
my papers and couldn't find anything to match,
so I got out my inks, I used, well a lot of ink,
ecoline, rainbow ink, wasn't crazy about it,
so had to get my Timmy's to tone down the oranges
color, lots of flicking with water,
okay now I liked it and wanted to add some gold.

I crinkled it up then took a skewer dipped it in
liquid gold leaf, ran it over the top with the stick.
Now I usually iron it on a craft mat on the back,
I sprayed with water the ironed it, took it off.

Yiiiiiikes, what the heck happen, lost all that lovely
color almost all the gold, now what do I do..

Added some more Tim's broken china.

More Tim, shabby shutters, it's okay for now
I will be doing other things on top,
 hope it works out..
Thats the craziness that goes on in my nest at
my desk, LOL,,,
Thanks for visiting, wishing you a wonderful creative day.
I'm still flying around to see all the desk I can..

Wow... this is why I love taking photos as I go - so that you get to see all the stages towards that amazing look you've created. Yes, it was fabulous all brown and gold too - but you can always re-create that, and without the accident, you'd never have got that beautiful cobweb of colour!

A stunning effect. It may not possibly be the effect you were aiming for but this is very special indeed. Eager to see what you create with this tag.

Wow, beautiful effect. Thank you so much. You inspired me to create a vintage item.

That blue looks sooo pretty!I liked the effect you got to begin with, but as Butterfly says, now it looks like a delicate web or the pattern on a birdie's egg! We learn and create so much when we are really open and experimental! I can't wait to see what you do with this, Dianne! You are such an inspiration! I love to peep into your nest and see what's going on inside! Julie Ann xxx

They do say there are no accidents or mistakes in craft, just happy accidents. I love yours, the effect is amazing! Hugs, Anne x

Awesome fix. Don't you just love mixed media? I love how a little paint changes the look.

Oh no. Well, at least you know what happens now when you do that. I still like the oopsie one. :-)

Never a mistake always a new opportunity. I am loving the blue and green filling in the white space caused by your ironing. Can't wait to see where this takes you next. Have a great week! Danie #25

I'm not quite as adventurous as you seem to be. I love how your piece is shaping up and I would be quite happy with it "as is"!
