CHRISTMAS CARDS AND BAGS

Finally finished all my projects my Christmas
cards are done, I h ad them sitting undone in a
box, I always make extras, so I finished them
up and made 3 Christmas bags and one for
all occasion ones

 

I put a card on the front, but you can't see it with
the glare

Tonniece's all occasion are in here.
I have more to show I'll post them when I get back
from waterfit. I made 4 purses out of paper bags they
are too cute and a book to hold my DS cards.

ANOTHER SET OF CARD FOR THE CRAFT TABLE..

This is a 6x6 gorgeous card, love her colouring
and matching envelope, my family will love these,
I'm sure we will make a lot of money for next year.
I'll be decorating  the bags to put them in.
Well I have to finish visiting, I'm so behind and
finish my cards then make purses

CARDS FOR THE CRAFT TABLE

Well imagine that, I found a bunch of cards Tonniece had made, she
said I could use them for  our reunion, so these are a few she made.
She also had some Christmas ones, which I will post tomorrow.
She does make fabulous card, that s for sure..

 

 

 

She even decorates the inside, fabulous..

BOX FOR GIO'S WALLET...

I finally got to my desk to finish my project.
I needed to make a box for Gio's wallet she gave me so I could
display it and it wouldn't get dirty or ruined.
Took pic's before I put the acetate on it, no glare :).
Used an empty box for perfume Tabu, Sue's, I have a few boxes.
Made a little pillow from some old embroider sheets, so it sat
up higher in the box.
Made a spray with gelatos,  pink and purple,
shave some and put it with water in your small spray bottle wait for a while
 then shake, shake, shake,shake,shake,shake,
you put your right foot in, sorry :O).
Sprayed it on bubble wrap then laid my tissue on it, lifted off
carefully, then let it dry, better to use thicker kind, I didn't
Stamped  with some script.
I also sprayed it on a piece of pattern tissue,  stamped with a teapot.
I don't have a cup stamp like on the wallet, but thought to use the
pot to pour the tea:).

Used 2 layers over the whole box then cut out the teapot,
no not fussy cut, never:). Modge podged it all.
I sanded the edges down then used the same gelatos to go
around the edges rubbed it in.
Added some string, well you can knit with this stuff, ladder
something LOL.
A couple of side view.
I didn't want to add much, just wanted to showcase the wallet.

 

 

 

Now I have time to visit all of the wonderful artist,
I'll be going away on the first 2 weeks of august.
for our family reunion, its our 48th one soooo
I have to make a stack of cards for our craft table
and make a rum cake for the bake table. Thats what
I'll be doing this week..

TRIP TO THE COUNTRYSIDE..

We went out for a drive to Caledonia (Six Nations)

I don't know what kind of tree this is, I picked
lots of pods on the ground, I use them in my wreathes.

Gorgeous weed not sure what it is called either but
I love them they look like tiny buttons..

Stop for a lovely meal at a restaurant. It's was a lovely
day out.
I have had company every day so no time to craft
or hardly time to visit all my lovely blogs.
Hopefully I'll have time to visit this weekend.
Our family reunion is on the long weekend in Aug.
I thinks we are going for 2 weeks, More about that later.

SUE'S TRAY

This is my redo, I added the new pic inside, it looks like my DS cottage.
Shirley's cottage sit by a point on the river with this huge rock there, we lay
on it, when there is the meteor showers, they dive off of it or fish there.
It's Sue favourite place in the world..

 

I had painted it brown then used crackle, then painted it with a pale blue.

I used gold Mini-luster rub-ons over it after it dried.

I had got this large blue plastic sheet so I cut it to fit the back to cover the
the cardboard and give it a nice stable finish..

The two BD girls my DS Sue and my step mom, (Tonniece's Mother.).
Fun was had by all..
Now I have time I'll be visiting everybody....
